The new Gouf was indeed awesome. If Kira didn't stick his nose in and let the Gouf fight Gaia, Heine could probably have kicked Stellar's ass. I live how he just whipped her the first two times. Down doggie. I still don't get why Kira got in there, he should have just focused on disabling the Orb mpbile suits. We just covered a lot of that debate though. I'm still not happy with Kira though. He deserves to be slapped by Athrun this time. Anyway, I hope we see more Goufs soon. These need to be mass produced quick. These can replace the Dinns easily with a new high performance model. I love how they mirrored the Ramba Ral scene too, that was a good tribute. I never thought I would like an orange mobile suit this much, but they did it. In a dark scheme they would look awesome. I hope they go with the Gouf flight type scheme from 8th MS Team. As for the cosmic region, I guess the concilation is that the Impulse itself is sculpted much better than the MSiA with more detail. The box sucks, but the figure looks good. The two fix figures I have haven't changed from the mode I set them in, nor are they likely going to change. All those parts get to sit in a parts bag. The Impulse still looks pretty good. I hope they release a Sword Impulse soon. That's still the only Impulse I want. Any pics from anyone yet? Is Graham buying one?

Watch the show at least twice. Many details you don't catch the first time people tend to notice more of in subsequent viewings. For another take on the story read the manga, which covers the characters far more in depth and Shinji is blessed with an ever so slightly larger spine. Some things are explained more clearly as well so it's a good companion for the show. Both excellent.

Lucs himself had this to say a couple weeks ago.

If ORB allied with ZAFT, they would have been attacked by EA. ORB didn't win the last time they fought EA. What makes you think they would win this time? ORB now has allied itself with EA. They are open to attack from ZAFT. And ZAFT is pounding on EA in the European region (i.e EA is losing territory). Another reason they lost is because they stood alone. Zaft offered support but Orb declined because that would have officially made them Zaft allies. Having Zaft mobile suit and submarine support tcould have helped a lot. Of course in Seed Destiny, if they went with the "We'll side with the opponnent of whoever attacks us first idea" then they would still have to wait for that support to arrive to help. A lot of damage would have happened before the first Zaft support could arrive in this case. It's a tough call all the way around but no matter what Cagalli was walked all over like a carpet, in a way that almost seemed out of character, as if she was missing part of her spine.

Lucas has already said he fully expects this one to be PG-13.

I meant before She had to be "kidnapped" by Kira, before they made her sign the treaty. She should have been able to fight Yuna and his dad off then. Now it's too late for her.

She's starting to turn into another Relena, which doesn't make me happy at all. I had enough of Relena's "we can't fight" crap in Wing, and the first Seed put just enough in not annoy you. Now she's spewing that stuff in a situation where you don't have anymore choice but to fight, and kick ass quickly so it doesn't drag out anymore. At least Cagalli isn't voicing pacifism, but it's still kind of annoying, since its obvious even her own nation isn't going to listen to her. She wasn't able to handle being sovereign of that state. If she was she would have told Yuna and co. to screw off it's being done her way, but no. Athrun's gained points in this show (I wasn't a real fan of him in the first show), but she's lost some this time.

Caught the new clone wars tonight. I'm very happy I remembered about it. Very good, especially the Grievous stuff. That was sweet. Great lead in into the movie.

I think the sword pack was also used in one of the underwater battles just after archangel left the desert. Destiny actually looks better in kit form then artwork, I'll probabaly end up buying it n one scale or another regardless. You're right, he used the Sword pack once underwater to fight the aquatic mobile suits, so we're up to a whopping 4 times being used!!!

I caved and got Swindle this week. Still trying to find Shockwave though.

I still think Dullindal has a funnel equipped Gundam in the works for Rey's future use. I'd say Lunamaria might get the Impulse after Shinn upgrades.

Then Sword Pack was used a total of 3 times it seems on the Strike Gundam itself. Heliopolis, Artemis, Destroying Blitz. I believe that was the last time the Sword Pack was used. Cagalli used it in the sky grasper a few times too while in the desert. As for Blast Impulse, maybe once they get back in space they'll use it a little more.

Actually yeah, never mind. It can boost with the Sword pack, but that's about it. I was thinking episode 2, but they were inside the colony at the time, that's why the Impulse could fly in there, as well as the other Gundams and Zakus could fly in there. That's an interesting physics gravity question. The centrifugal gravity effect of the colony. How exactly that worked to allow the mobile suits to fly like that as if they were in space when they got in the upper part of the hour glass. Rack your brains with that one. Without any gravity effect pulling down on them wouldn't they hit the side walls of the glass as the colony rotated? I know, too deep for a tv show. The UC style cylindical colonies were much easier to explain the physics of. There was a really detailed site about the plausibility of the design too. So the only flight capable new Gundams so far are the Force Impulse, Savior, and Chaos.

Both Targets in my area had plenty of them to go around. Went to one at lunchtime, had to gave at least 10 of them. Went to the other one after work. They had a bunch of them too, also at least 10 I'd say. If the price was $150 I'd have not questioned it probably, or at least have not been as hesitant. $250+games no way. Maybe later when the price drops some. The launch title assortment is impressive however. The DS has been out for months and doesn't have that many interesting titles IMO. Nintendo will have to come out with their next one quick to stay on top of the handheld game. I was looking for Shockwave in Target, and even broke my no wal-mart rule and looked in there. Didn't go to the game aisle though.

I'm starting to wonder if they'll even show the Blast Impulse's Beam Javelin animated. There isn't much point to having 3 different equipment packs is you're not going to use them. There have been several instances where the blast might have been useful. Impulse can fly with any of the 3 packs. However I guess the manuverability of the Force Sillouette has been the most useful given Shinn has been fighting 20-1 odds in numbers every time he sorties.
