I downloaded the raw manga last night. Awesome. Can't wait to see what happens with the next one. This one ended with Ritsuko destroying the Rei clones. Next volume should be quite rough, but it's going to be real interesting what they do with it. Finally nearing the end. With the improvements to Shinji's character so far I hope he isn't as bad as in the EoE movie. He'll probably be a wreck after the Kaoru fight, but hopefully not so pitiful. My personal hope is to see him at least fight some of the Eva-05 series himself. It's a shame we'll probably have to wait another hundred years for it. This volume took forever to come out, and we'll still have to wait a while for the english version. It was a total surprise too, I haven't seen anything about this until I saw it on 4chan. Here's a rapidshare link for it. I'm not Rapidshare fan, but at least it works. Manga 10 RAW Kaoru's expansion is...interesting. I like actually seeing him pilot against the 16th angel, with that dual chainsaw weapon that came from the video game. He's definitely creepier around Shinji, which is in turn making Shinji more skeptical of him. The character expansion continues to rock in the manga adaption. They even managed to show Rei acknowledge that she was jealous of Shinji going to see Asuka in the hosptal all the time. Right after the cover was a cool image. This could have made a cool wallpaper if only the gap was filled in.

Exactly. The Neo Zeon retards that The Argama faced early on would have been easy pickings for Camille. Mashima AND Glemy would have DIED in their first sortie as well. The Endora would have been a minor concern. How the hell Glemy went from rookie in the beginning to leading a large-scale coup against Haman by the end, commandeering Axis in the early stages, is one of my many issues with ZZ. On top of the fact that he was a little bitch.

I thought that was great. Way to strike at Scientology and at the same time deal with Hayes's departure. The Eulogy for Chef was spot on: while we may disagree with Chef's decisions the past few days, let us remember Chef for the laughs and good stuff, and just blame the fruity club that brainwashed him. The end was WTF?! Wonder what they'll do with that little twist.

You know, before they go and make an HCM Pro Strike Noir, I would like to see an actual HCm Pro Strike Gundam. Preferrably a complete set with all 3 packs and at least 1 sky grasper.

More great news from Gunota The HCM Pro Gouf and Zaku II J with Magella Top, missles, and crackers sound awesome. Very happy to see these. The sculpt of the MG Gyan looks pretty good. I'm not a Gyan fan either, but I applaud the effort. Looks like they''re going to start making new 1/100 Seed kits again too, not that I'll buy an of those though.

I'm all for ZZ being voided out. Come on already for the subs on Movie II!!!

The swapped waist piece is more like a cover. There's a "spine" behind it. You just swap out the mobile suit mode's waist cover for the "compacted" one, so the arms can rotate. The torso never separates from the lower half. The HGUC was a real parts swap, the HCM Pro has none of that. Just swap the waist cover piece and remove the antenna. The HCM Pro Zeta should run about 30 bucks after shipping.

IF Tyrol gets stuck on the planet then maybe the civilian crew-chief form the pegasus will step up and be a big player in the hangar? I was wondering what happened to that guy too. All he was really used for was the sob story of how Cain abandoned her civilian ships. The guy did have an impressive skill set and was probably very useful.

Once my 1/48 VF-1S Hikaru arrived I broke down and decided it was time to get a VF-1J Hikaru as well. I'll probably get a GBP armor set for it soon. That will have to be after I save up to do my computer rebuild though. So here's my current Macross display collection.

My HCM Pro Zeta Gundam arrived today. Overall I am very impressed with it. Both modes look great. The joints in mobile suit mode are stable, it was able to hold the mega launcher with no problem. The leg sockets are also good. It does have a balancing problem with the heavy backload, but with the beam rifle or mega launcher it counterbalances all right. Transformation was pretty straightforward. The wings lock into the shield so it secures very well there. The hip section comes apart in kind of a "z" function. My only issue is that while the stabilizer has a tab for the hip section it doesn't lock as well as the rest of it. It's not as secure as the wing/torso section. That part of the hip can wobble a little if the tab from the stabilizer comes out, but as long as it is in it holds fine. The connection between the mega launcher and the shield is not very stong either. It should hold fine though unless it gets bumped. Everything else holds fine in wave rider. In mobile suit modes the wings are stable, yet the joint used gives you some play to help with the poseability. This is a really good effort IMO. I just wish the leg block secured better in wave rider. The rest of it is great though. Overall I am very pleased with this one. Here are some pics.

I thnk the HCM PRo Zeta looks terrific. At 1/200 and only needing to remove the antenna and swap the waist to transform is a feat. I am going to keep mine in waverider like this next to my PG Zeta. When HLJ finally gets around to shipping it.

Not a big fan of the LV2, but I do like the Stealth. I'll get that one at least.

I am currently dragging myself through ZZ Gundam. The first half was awful. SEED Destiny was more enjoyable by far IMO. The first dozen or so episodes especially were god awful. 10 episodes dealing with morons Emma alone would have killed in 10 minutes. She wouldn't even have needed Camille or Char. Camille would have dealt with the problem in 5 minutes. It's supposed to get better soon supposedly. I hope so. I'm on ep. 25 now. It's been hard to watch more than 2 at a time. Next biggest disappointment recently is SEED Destiny. Train wreck. A few months ago I sat through Ikkitousen. That was kind of meh IMO. Not horrible, but nothing special either. Aside from these I haven't run into many duds lately.

That completely rocked. Love Hellsing. This is definitely pretty close to the Manga. The credits had shots of the Zeppelin and they showed the the crazy Nazi guy briefly too. Cool.

The CCCP pack works among the best. It's handled everything I've thrown at it. Can't wait to see this new Hellsing. Hope the download finishes soon.

It's possible, with a different writing staff. The staff used for Destiny shouldn't be allowed to touch anything other than a short ova. They clearly can't handle anything long running. You know it's pretty bad when the director complains about it.
