A this point, I never expect Manga to release anything on time. Ever. And even then they continue to delay and delay for phantom reasons. And then they still manage to screw up the discs. I have become very wary of Manga. At least they did all right with Read Or Die. Supposedly Orguss 02 came out ok, but I haven't tried it for myself yet. None of their antics surprize me any more.

I thought the video quality of Infusion's fansub was excellent. And for getting done so quick they still did a really good job on the subs. Kudos!

Only thing is, with EMS shipping a VF-11 still comes out to 77 bucks, so I might as well buy another from Tam or Kevin anyway when I have some spare cash. Now, 30% off a Max 1/48 would be something.

I am waiting for that sale too. I am going to be at the front of the heard. I have not gotten one of these yet. I keep checking there regularly myself to see if they do. If I wait for word to come here first then I'll miss it. I wouldn't mind a VF-11 sale either.

Somtimes if a file is downloading real slow, I close the download, and run the web link again and it restarts faster a lot of times. I guess it finds a better connection. I don't know.

As for swimming so deep, Mao can swim like a damn shark, so she just dragged shin down there in a flash. The destroids rocked. I loved how the one was leaning over the side of the deck trying to reach DD. Seems a lot closer to a beefed up dedicated battroid than the usual destroids we're used to seeing. Where were the Ghosts? Anyone else catch how they broke the sound barrier immediately after take off like that. Those things were hauling ass. The SV-51 is one agile damned fighter, and these things really are spanking the VF-0's. All the more reason to get the VF-1's in there. The kick flip was nicely done. Nora does need to die, but she is good at what she does. There was lot of Gerwalk use, but all of kind of justified for what they were doing, either carrying something, or fighting around the carrier. Lastly, I still have no idea what the hell the AFOS is supposed to be, and how its tied to Mao and Sara so closely. One question, if the VF-0's are running on conventional engines, how are they supposed to run with the intakes closed? I could buy the VF-1 doing the underwater bit, maybe, and that's a stretch but not the Zero.

Finished! Finally! It's uploading around 30K pretty consistently. I'll leave up for at least a day straight and then periodic after that when I'm not downloading something else. Now to watch it.

All veyr good advice. Keep them and preserve them, you won't regret it. Take a few with you though. At least one or two VF-1's to show off. Gotta decorate your new pad with something personal.

Guess I have to stop by Gamestop sometime tomorrow. Even for 7 bucks for the others, not bad. And no, I will not be preordering a MPC. Especially if they want 80 bucks for a smaller toy than the Valks.

Thanks! For those who have the Taka version......... Does the paint on the diecast differ from the colores plastic on the Taka one? Kind of like how parts on the G1 Bluestreak don't really match? (Doors, window area etc) Not really, when as a car everything matches up perfectly. Wow, they don't look too different at all side by side. You can tell which one is the Takara of course, but the US one looks much better than I thought it would next to it.

That's something we don't have to worry about. It was just for MSG that Bandai Japan made the Japanese track unavailable for R1.

It definitely has the worst animation in the entire series, but if you ask me, the episode that comes before it is the worst in the series and woulda been the one to cut. The episode is only available on HK sets. Thanks. Stange, but if it didn't contribute anything, I won't lose sleep over it.

It may not be right, but it's business. The entertainment industry will always do something if they think it will earn them some money, if it means they will knowingly piss off fans. I'm glad to just have the series on DVD, and at least there's the movies. The lack of the Japanese audio doesn't even bother me as much as Tomino cutting episode 15 does. That just isn't right. What was so special about Episode 15? Why was it cut out? That I don't think I've heard before.

Maybe there was an actual protoculture living on the island at some point after crashing/landing, and Mao and Sara are decended from him/her, explaining their psychic abilities and "alien" blood. Maybe an aspect of having Anima Spritia was having that piece of Protoculture DNA in your makeup. If they made us, why not? I still have some hopes of the Prometheus showing up, if anything to deliver a shipment of brand new VF-1's. Still waiting for the fansub, hopefully in a day or two.

The golden days of X-men are long since over. Back when they had the Blue and Gold teams it rocked, now I don't know what the deal is. Got crappy, so I gave up on it.

If it's only $20US, then why not. It of course doesn't look the same as the lovely diecast, but if it is that much a lower price, that definately helps. The only one I want though right now though is Hound, and I'll get him die cast. Any confirmation on Hasbro's price for Smokescreen?

I'm happy I got the 3 MSG movies at least. If I find a cheap bundle of R1's then cool, even if it is dub only. It wasn't the greatest dub, but definately passable, IMO. I've heard worse. There was no way Bandai Japan was going to let R1 beat them to a MSG release. It would have been a slap in the face to the R2 folk, and it most assuredly would have been imported over there, ironically. I'd say for the 25th anniversary they'll do the R2 big release, then R1 can get its proper subtitled release not long after. Until then, beware the bootleg, I saw some screenshots somewhere (a couple here) and the subs were just god awful. For now, the Movies will do fine for me, and finally Zeta. I've only skimmed a couple of episodes I downloaded of Zeta, but am impressed so far. I look forward to seeing it. Only leaves ZZ and V unaccounted for for UC, since F91 is also coming. Given the trend, I don't see how Seed wouldn't get a Vol. 1 + Box release. Probably 10 discs again, just like Wing. Fine by me. I really enjoyed Seed, and very much want a legit release of it on my shelf. Had a few lapses and left a lot open, but not a bad kickoff if it truly was the new branch-off point. I just hope they don't make us wait too long before getting at least the Zeta box out.

Actually it was the Japan side that did not let bandai US have the Japanese track for the R1 release. There was a lot of debate as to why at the time, I think because they wanted to some kind of special R2 release first. It was pretty much dub only or nothing at the time, so bandai went with what they could, so they could get UC going. They have promised many times that as soon as they can they will do some kind of subtitle release for the original Mobile Suit Gundam, once they can.

Pretty cool. I love it when shows do homages like that. Even if it got swatted like a gnat.

I will watch episode 3 first, then when I eventually have time, go back and watch all 3 again in a row.
