It was horrible. The G-savior's modular design was interesting (space and ground packages), and I liked the CG for the colonies. But, they couldn't pick a scale for the mobile suits, the plot was kinda inane, and his gov't official girlfriend was a complete bitch. The GM's the independant colony had were useless. The mobile dolls didn't look too bad though. Definately a C movie. It is obviously a made-for-tv movie. One thing I didn't get was they said in the intro the calendar switched to UC in 22something. I don't think so Tim. Unless it's documented somewhere else? I would agree with the above: rent it.

Got an Armada Unicron for 30 bucks at Target today too. I read about it in the where-to-find-Alternators thread and went to check it out. They had 3 left.

Now Vinnie, Bsu, and Vostok have them

Doorknobs! Door Knobs are only religious objects when I bless them. EEEEEWWWWWWWWWW.

Probably just like a cargo strap, with a big I-reel to retract it. Similar material too, maybe.

Good cause I'm planning on killing both Max and Milkman X. So that's what happened to SuperO and AidanK....... What they didn't want to go away quietly like peter and Yoshi? vinnie Who's AidanK? A mod that Roy got sick of, so he killed him. I think he just got burned out as a mod, and took off. He hasn't been on MW in about a year as far as I know. Ahh. OK. I haven't hit a year yet, so that explains why I never heard of him.

Suggestions for good anime/game music
Anubis replied to sidearmsalpha's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
One: Switch from the Robotech sountrack to an actual Macross soundtrack. I think, you may be pleasantly surprized. I have always liked the Rurouni Kenshin OVA soundtrack as well. -
Not again. There is another long running Macross 7 bitch session on the first page. We don't need another fresh start to the argument every week.

As it comes closer to release, I'm sure more pics will surface to confirm the size of the mecha and the pilot.
-
I, too would really like a Regult on my shelf. I hope it's the next enemy mecha they make.
-
Of course. You obviously missed the whole Infusion fansub troll battle. Many lives were lost. On the trolls' side. Here's a page with an active bittorrent link. It's AonE's.

Doesn't sound so bad then. I was just worried about ruining the motor. Redundant question I'm sure, but where can someone find one of these at?

Very true, just secured very well with plastic. I was kind of joking only on my last post. Good packaging can be done without safety wiring the product into oblivion. I'm just sying I would rather have it come with a little excessive protection instead of too little protection. But it matters not since I have a Takara comiing from Tam. How was Unicron's packaging, anyone? As bad?

I don't know what all the hubub is quite about, back when it was announced we all guessed it would cost this much anyway. At least they kept it under the cost of a 1/48 VF-1. Add in the size, I don't know wether that prototype pic is the actual current size or what, but it will have at least an inch or two over a 1/48. In DYRL, it didn't look that much bigger than a VF-1. but still bulkier and taller. All depends on the official stats, which will be what Yamato will go off of with the froating head's blessing. It will be big, it will look sweet, and we don't know the die cast content yet. Even if it comes out to $110/115US, it still isn't that bad considering a 1/60 w/fast pack runs 80 dollars, or a 1/48 VF-1 without Fast Packs runs a little under 130. How many of us have paid close to $200 dollars after shipping for one with Fast Packs. How many (not me) have paid 150+ lately for a Low-Vis w/ no FP's. I wish it all was cheaper, but I will not give myself a coronary over it. Whoever wants a ultra cheap Q-rau can get a Bandai kit, or one from the K&M series figures. Those that want an uber Q-rau will get a Yamato. From this I'm amazed I haven't seen a "holy crap a 1/48 w/FP's cost 200 bucks??!!!" thread lately. Yeah, the Q-rau is expensive, but the level of detail is high, and it is huge. Wait until they make a Glaug.

So you basically force the tray to open and close? Not sure I like that idea.
-
I'm curious about that myself. If it is a safe solution, I might try that myself, so I can get the import Macross game.
-
If they didn't secure it well, imagine the complaints then.

You're Delta name shall be.......Flounder. Why Flounder? WHY NOT?

Good question. Is Yamato releasing any other Escaflowne figures? Personally. I think it'd rock if they obtained the GITS:SAC license........I'd kill for a figure of the Major and Tachikoma. That might largely depend on how well the Escaflowne sells. If it pulls large numbers, Yamato might be enticed to make more Escaflowne figures. And without the complex transformation mechanism the Escaflowne has, the other guymelefs could made for cheaper. Even the Alseides, which only has a simple transformation for the lower half for flight mode) So if you want more Escaflowne goodness, keep buying more Escaflowne's people. My only minor quibble with it is that I wish it was a cloth cape. The wings' material in dragon mode is fine, but the cloak weighs down the shoulders in Guymelef mode being plastic like that.

It is a good color for whatever squadon that is. Blue Rose maybe?

It was kind of tempting, but for that price I might as well buy a Master Grade Kit, or wait for a 1/144 HGUC version to show up. I think it read before certain things might have been improved over the Zeta, but given the nature of the ZZ Gundam it won't be very posable anyway, and be in the same boat as with the Zeta, if you have one of those. By the same token if I were to get it now instead of before, I would have gotten a HGUC Zeta gundam instead of the Kahen Senshi. If you LOVE die cast or really don't want to build one of the model kits, then the Kahen Senshi ZZ may be for you. It's all I can really say on the matter.

Is it ture, source ?, pics ? You're kidding right? In case any one else thinks otherwise I WAS JOKING.

I think it looks pretty sweet. Especially for only 50 bucks from Tam or Kevin. It's a bargain.
