Currently both of my 1/48's (-1A Hikaru and Strike -1S Roy) For honerable mention my beloved CF's right after (a reg release on display and a MISB TRU). Have to add my Takara MPC Optimus Prime to that list too.

All HG has done is milk existing RT for years now. Hopefully RT 2004 will tank and they may realize their dumb mistakes, if they waste the time and money involved. Actually going to Tatsunoko for aid in making the new show is actually surprising, but again not really because they can't do anything new on their own. Maybe then they'll learn they need to actually be creative for once. If they pull it off, more power to them. I don't plan on watching any RT old or new.

Poor guy must have been swamped lately It's been close to a month now hasn't it? Hope he gets a breather soon.

I'm amazed a Japanese studio would allow HG to bastardize thier new show if they do make Mospaeda 2. Stuff like that is a huge no-no these days. On top of it, it's common knowlege that anime fans want their shows unbutchered. HG doing that to a new Mospaeda would be extremely screwed up, and I would wonder if that would actually do well. If they want something new for RT: DO IT THEMSELVES. Don't bastardize new shows.

Finally sat throught the episodes on this disc, and I was impressed by how much they actually added. There's no question this is definately worth picking up if you haven't already and liked Eva. I especially liked in 22 they really got in Asuka's head more than they did before. They really did put more pieces of everything out there for you to see. Only thing that seemed somewhat wierd to me was the new extent of the 16th Angel's effect on Unit 00, and it's "death" so to speak. Interesting though. Recommended. I wonder how the next disc will come out. I know a little of what's in 24 and am sure there will be more than that. The last two episodes, however: I have no idea what they did with those. More psycho-babble: probably. A little clearer: hopefully, but doubtful. Got to wait till march for that though.

Actually, AnimEigo's disc's were single layered, ADV's I'm sure are dual layered, so there shouldn't be much difference at all in bitrates. Were they? In that case never mind then on bitrate.

There is no such thing as a variable wing F-22. That's a photochop. The navy has full intention of using the F-18's and eventually F-35's. Only variable wing left in the inventory after the 14's are gone will be the B-1 Bomber.

English version stank, the Japanese versions of the intros grow on you after a while. Season 3's I didn't like, but the other two were just fine. The lyrics are kind of odd though reading them.

Why not? There have been a lot of cleavage avatars lately. His just happens to be a live action version. There's another one or two out there like that too. Lots of us have used skimpier avatars. Nothing explicitly nude though. There have been a couple of porn actress ones that have pushed the barrier slightly but that's it. The current jiggly avatars are probably just a fad. I don't mind them at all, actually a little funny. Could be far worse things to have to look at.

Very few anime tv shows from the early 80's had anywhere near a high budget. For what budget they had they did good with. Except Animefriend. They sucked the big one.

Good, they did give Animeigo and Shin credit at least. Put a bow tie on Frankenstein and he's still Frankenstein though. 19.99 for 12 episodes is quite cheap though, and would equate to not much more than the un-remastered brick in the end after the 3 boxes. On pondering, only two discs for 12 episodes would yield a lower bitrate than Animeigo's discs. I wonder if there would be any difference from that in the presentation. Either way, it's still a big leap ahead of the the old RT master. What's this new artwork that's supposed to be in there?

Who knows. Styling perhaps. Maybe a better viewing angle to see the rest of the ship? I'd say aesthetic stying.

All this is why we have the Straight Shooters and Blacklists, and why it's encouraged to post pics of what you are selling. Sale/trade fourum sections like this are always buyer beware, and should be treaded with caution. I don't think it would be fair to dump another burden onto the mods and admin. They have enough to do here, and actual jobs in addition. Like Mechamaniac said, it would still be easy to just post fake contact info. All that can be said is, be careful what you put your money down for, and don't hesitate to ask questions before you actually buy the item.
