What's wrong with my Yamato, Bandai, etc.

Again, Twin Moons or Valkyrie Exchange both have the better stickers, for the reg 1/48's, the fast packs, and the custom Low-Vis stickers. The "chair thingie" reinforces the backpack for the extra weight the boosters add. It inserts behind the head in battroid. -
Yeah, that'd be great for the spine, with some sort of MW logo in the upper left maybe? Definitely need the MW logo on the spine, since it'll be the most viewed side of the box. How about asking wolf13 for a nice render of his Macross in ship mode, against a star background? Another good idea. I'd like to see a test render of that if he's willing to join in. I still stand by my pics for the side images. Both similar styled artwork (dont know if it's the same guy or not), and also are two of my favorite art pieces.

Hikaru piloted a Spartan briefly one of the SW1 aftermath episodes to help with some rebelling Zentraedi. I believe it was the episode he left Misa wating for hours at a restaurant for their date, IINM. Lap'Lamiz got to pilot Kamjin's Glaug once, while Kamjin rode on top of a stolen Mk. II Monster. I think she piloted a Regult somewhere not long before that, too.

That's pretty sweet looking. I may have to snag that myself eventually.

NICE!!!! Superimpose some ghost images of some of the cast in one area in the upper left maybe. Also the MW exclusive w/ logo in the lower left or right. Move the Macross logo to the top of the box between the UN Spacy and Zentraedi kites. So far so good.
-
And just a UN Spacy kite and Zentraedi emblem over black for the top of the box. Maybe something styled something similar like this for the long back could also work. No grid likes, actual Macross logo, etc. MacrossWorld Exclusive in the lower left with the MW logo if Shawn allows.

Here are my recommendations for the SDF Macross box: For the back: Some form of SDF-1 shot. Needs to be a wide image to allow for the 12 discs. Maybe something similar to this, with the Robotech removed. A space or nightime one might be better though.

I'd like to second that, The Elint pic is awesome too. Great work.

What I'd like to know is how the air is supposed to be routed through the YF-21/VF-22. Given the leg placement inside the fuselage, and the movement of the backpack where the engines are actually mounted, it must be one wierd damn intake system. I could only guess after staring at it that the air comes in from the front intakes, merges into one "tunnel" in between the legs, and branches out again to the engines. Two different connection socket sets would be on this tunnel for when the backpack moves up for battroid. It's all I could figure. Other than that VF, all the engine intakes look just about the same basic principle as the VF-1.
-
I'd agree there. The fan at the front of the intake probably is meant to force air to the engine in Gerwalk mode. Here's a zoomed in shot of the earlier cutaway. There's nothing significant in the upper leg intake.

Sweet. Not the dub, but the show in general.

As stated two or three times in this very thread: 9 Animeigos. . . 1 DYRL. . . Flashback 2012. Place in pot, simmer, season to taste. Serves 12. H Check your math Hurin... 9 Animeigo's + 1 DYRL + 1 FB2012 + 1 20th anniversary = 12

I gave up during Hardy's fight.

Well, I watched a few minutes or Raw last night (a rarity these days), in time to see the rather average match between Goldberg and Kane. I have wanted to see them fight, but it ended up rather routine. Until the lights went out fog filled the place and Undertaker's bell rang, with graveyard-ish imagery on the display. Can this mean dark undertaker is comng back? That would be pretty sweet. He hasn't been the same since he went biker. Thing with stuff like this is though, they will drag it out for weeks or until the next pay-per-view until he actually shows up. They also cut to commercial during the whole fog show really killing the moment. Again.

No more than 1/60 for anything other than the VF-1 for me. Too big. Shelf space alreadfy too limited. A new VF-11 would be awesome. As for the YF-19 I'll just be happy to have the new 1/72 finally. If anything I'll worry about a bigger scale of that later.

Tis one of the joys, and the curse of Limited Edition Items. I snoozed, I lost. I will have the next one though. If there is a next one.

He should have had an accident in the first one. Wow, this means we may see Storm Troopers actually shoot on target for once! Ditch the visor thingies: Bring on the real helmets.

I liked the Animeigo covers just fine. However, a brushed metal artbox with gorgeous cover art enshrining my Macross collection would rock. Add in another sweet artbox for Macross Plus for bonus. I'm thinking about inquiring on a Crest/Banner of the Stars Artbox eventually. Need a cheap month to do that though.

a question for ppl with ADV EVA directors cut

The sketches can be found at AICN's site. That's really it. The two guys went on for a while about how excited they were to work on this opportunity, and while they talked pre-production sketches were shown on screen. Nice artwork, except for the ladies, but we had a long ... discussion ... about that already. It's all pre-production still, so it's still a ways off till we see something more concrete about it. -
Has anyone seen actual measurements though? A battloid height alone would be useful.

what's your favorite anime death sequences
Anubis replied to zeus the zentran's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
necrophilia At the moment Shinji didn't realize she was dying. Thus the thought of coming back alive to have that piece waiting would be plenty of incentive to get off his butt, kick some ass, and get back home. Ideally. She intended to light a fire under his wussified-in-the-movie-way-worse-than-in-the-show butt. It was highly screwed up to have her die like that though. In Gendo's case, his death was well deserved and appropriatly ironic.
