Supposed to be 1/72 still on last word.

Max had an affair? Cheated on Millia? Maybe a factor into their separation during M7? Doesn't sound like Max though.

Some possible boxes have leaked out for the OT DVD release. 3 designs so far. I don't know if they will have multiple versions when it comes out, or if they are still deciding on the box styling. It would be pretty cool if they did release different boxes, to suit different fans, kind of like what we're doing with the Paul Champagne SDF Macross boxes. The Final Battle.

Was he secretly tagging bridge bunnies? I never heard that before. Him and Millia had enough kids together.

OMG I had no idea they had Millia's VF-17 lined up too That sucks. Why Bandai why? They are releasing stuff from every other show known to man, why not Macross? I would forgive it in part if they would just re-release the damn VF-19S though. I don't care what anyone says, I love the look of the battroid.

Yamato does not have the Mospaeda liscense. This is one HG has locked down, though Toynami might release some down the line.

Official Transformers Alternators and more thread.

I found Sideswipe easier to tansform than smokescreen too. Now that I have Sideswipe, I have to say he really has grown on me. My only complaint about the Hasbro is I can't get the doors angled up like the Takara, to look more like his G1. I guess they aren't supposed to on the Hasbro? I didn't want to risk breaking it by forcing it too much, but that's a shame it can't move further. I still like it though. Any word on when Hound is coming out? Edit: Never mind, I figured out the doors finally. -
That's messed up, Orton needs to go and quick. Sorry I don't remember this, but who comprised the Rock and Sock Connection? Edit: Never mind, The Rock and Foley. Duh.

I would be happy if Bandai would reissue at least one of the SDF-1 toys as well. Even the small one. I wonder if the old mold is still intact to make reissues with. New kits would be sweet though. The little one I bought a while back will have to suffice for now, when I have time to sit and assemble/paint it. This will be interesting because I have only painted two models in my life. My PG Eva Unit 01 and a Tie Interceptor.

Hmm, now that indeed would rock. Similar to the Star Trek kits maybe, but at least on Master Grade level. Impressive detail that would require less effort on Bandai's part than the Star Trek kits. Modelers would be pleased as well I'm sure. That would be awesome. A MG SDF-1 would also fit in with MG Battroids should they be so inclined. Skeletal frame like the newer master grades. Those would demolish any "super posable". I've probably said this before somewhere. A SDF-1 is well within their capability, and their marketing could get it out in large numbers easier. I would bw willing to buy two kits individually as well, one for Storm Attack and one for Cruiser. Ah, dreams. It is a shame Bandai seems to not have much interest in Macross merchandise, yet they keep reissuing the old model kits.

I would personally rather have the Ali Landry or Minori Aoi sexbot. But anyway, about the SDF-1: What about the Mk. II Monster? At 1/60 the thing is HUGE and out of many people's price range for a single item. Why wouldn't a more affordable SDF-1 (30cm in Storm Attacker) do better than it would? Throw in a small display stand for cruiser mode, and it would be a done deal for many I'm sure.

Dude... a 1/1 robotic sex slave modeled after Britney Spears would sell like wildfire. A Yamato SDF-1? Many would complain about the size, when the size is announced. Many would complain about the price, after the toy actually comes out. Many would complain about the diecast content (or lack of it). Many would then complain about how the color on this tiny part doesn't match that tiny part and this tiny gun breaks too easily, etc. Sales would be pretty good... but nothing resembling wildfire. Seems to me that Yamato has had their best profit/availability ratio on items like the Low Vis scheme (even though I'm not a fan, I'll admit it). If worked at Yamato, I'd be pitching limited releases of valks with military schemes. After the rising cost of the Low Vis, I'll bet any limited edition custom military paint scheme 1/48 would sell like a brush fire. But not wildfire. That can only be used for actual phenomenon, such as Pokemon cards in the late 90's and the aforementioned Britney sexbot. It's an EXPRESSION They won't sell out in 3 days or anything. True I would fear the bitch sessions about it. "It's too big." "It's too small." "This doesn't look right." "It's too expensive." None if it would be any surprize. It will however sell very well if they make a genuine effort on it. It's only competition is the older Taka's/matchboxes. All very expensive. Many many of us here would buy a good SDF-1 from Yamato. Yamato's profit would be assured on that one. A Britney sexbot would be a high seller too especially if it doesn't speak.

It's the same thing with Sankou Tessou (or however you spell it), using Iron Reaver blah blah for the English version. Are these the literal tanslations of the Japanese titles? If so, it's way better than the Kenshin attacks. In japanese they sound bad ass, translated they sound kind of lame too.
-
It sound like a show Bandai would grab for release in R1, I'd wager 6 discs if it's 24-26 episodes. Hopefully soon, because ths seems pretty interesting.
-
The problem with a poll is there can only be one winner of the poll, and of course people will ask for valk in higher numbers first. SDF-1's would sell like wildfire. Especially since there are so MANY VF-1's out now, and only the first enemy mecha is hitting shelves.
-
I would much rather have the DYRL version.

He's like the guy you climb a mountain through snow to see, and then you find the guy speaks in riddles, and you leave more confused than when you arrived. This should be Graham's new sig. "I know the answer to the question you were going to ask, but I can't tell you." or from Radio Shack: "You've got questions, but you won't get any answers today." Just playing, don't force choke me

It's an old list, but a great one. My favorite is still: #11 - Law of Inherent Combustibility Everything explodes. Everything.

Possible idea: Could you but a Fast pack set or two and sell them back out minus the strike cannon? I'm sure someone would snatch the rest of the FP package for a few dollars discount. Then there's no worry about painting and assembling the recast.
-
I'd love to see one in a reasonable size (around 30 cm in storm attack mode height). Don't know what scale Yamato would choose to use, but hopefully they make at least one version in time, once some more of the valks are out of they way. I just don't want to pay more than a 1/48 VF-1 w/fast packs for it.

Graham went so far as to delete the enitre last thread, so you may want to take it off before someone does it again. Yamato didn't want that pic made public. He also asked not to post it again here or anywhere else. It only lasted a couple of hours last time. Don't get me wrong, I'm as eager for news as anyone else. Yeah, that scratchbuild is THE definative -19. I hope the new Yamato version of the YF looks anywhere close to loking like that. Hopefully they can make a new VF-19A as well afterward. I can hope at least.

#17 - Law of Transient Romantic Unreliability Minmei is a bimbo. #20 - Law of Militaristic Unreliability Huge galaxy-wide armadas, entire armies, and large war machines full of cruel, heartless, bloodthirsty warriors can be stopped and defeated with a single insignificant example of a caring/loving emotion or a song. First Corollary - (from Adam Barnes) Whenever a single war machine (mecha, starship, etc.) goes up against an entire army, the army always loses. Hmmm...

The Glaug and Regult are both coming up almost even so far. Regult leads by only 3.
