I guess we'll find out when that unspecified magazine comes out next month in Japan.
-
Damn you lucky. So many new shiny boxes. As for the sub-topic, I'm 23, and my girlfriend is a hot 32. No problem there

From AnimeNation (how often do these guys get first scoop. rare.) Now that Episode 145 of Inu Yasha is now avalailable for download from Ani-Kraze, it's nice to know it actually is coming to a close soon. I do think it will pass the 150 mark easily given where they're at during 145 and what's left to still do, but not too much longer until that great show concludes. And what better to fill its time slot in Japan than Gundam Seed 2 in October. Let's see is any of our speculation from before is close or not with what they do in Seed 2.

Holy crap man! With fast packs as well, how in the hell did you do it for $2K? Last month you bought a SDF-1 too? What armored car did you rob?
-
That was great.

I think it's a head skewered with a hobby knife. I think so too. Looks like a prog knife sticking in some kind of head. Must reisist buying these, though they are cute. I've bought enough Eva stuff this month.

Exactly. That's why I think for 50 bucks you get your money's worth. I didn't think 300++ was dead on for the SHE. Damn that's expensive. Gorgeous, but uber expensive. For 50 bucks Yamato made a good effort, and in light of all the valk money I hemmoraged last year, I appreciated only having to shell out 50. It looks pretty good as a display piece, so the bang for the buck factor worked out in this case.

How much is shipping from Tokyo Central?
-
With Yamato's transformation method, if they made the packs any bigger, you'd have to take them off to transform it. Yeah they're a little tiny, but I forgive them this time. They are much better than the 21's way too big undercarriage fast packs at least. I like my VF-11. Might get a second one eventually.

List the most ugliest Transformer toys out there?

Real Scorponock would kick his ass. -
I must be one of the few who was at least reasonably satisfied with my Escaflowne. Pretty good detail and transformation for under 50 bucks at that size. My only complaints were the non-cloth cape that weighs the shoulders and adding the sword weighs down the right side further. Transformation and posability were diffucult things to put together given the complexity of the escaflowne, but with a cloth cape I think it would have been more stable. If it was completely perfect transformation, and more posable, it would likely be fragile, and cost 300+ at that. I agree the sculpt was out of proportion, but it was the ony way to get transformation like that at the price point they set it at.

I'll take whatever Guymelefs I can get. A Scherzade and an Alseides would be sweet. A black Escaflowne would be pretty cool too.

ADV press-release about EVA Platinum-edition (r1)
Anubis replied to treatment's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
This weekend will see a better explanation from ADV. We'll see if I was close or not with what I thought above. from Animeondvd -
That's a bad assumption people make. Just because it looks clean doesn't mean it won't kill you any slower. Hydrazine, anyone?
-
Refer this one to the "what's wrong with my yamato" pinned thread. No parts available for the old VF-11 and it's famed broken hip syndrome, but you may be able to secure the leg again with guidance.

Rocket motors only last so long before they need to be time changed. There is an accuracy improvement built into the upgrade as well, so if anything the missles will become more reliable. A time mandated upgrade, so nothing really surprizing there. It just happens to have a more environmentally friendly (and probably technician safer) new rocket motor.

ADV press-release about EVA Platinum-edition (r1)

Touched up backgrounds and stuff, digitally remastered, and Japanese 5.1 is EXACTLY what they did with the Renewal R2 version for Eva. Happy day. And 7 discs instead of 8. Easy investment for me. I would love the renewal box. Gainax would never allow ADV to whip up another version on their own, so this has to be the Renewal version. I'm amazed they got it so fast. Only problem is, the renewal R2 also had the movies in it IINM. So since Manga has the movie liscence, we're SOL on whatever movie stuff was in the Renewal R2 release. They probably got a nice new Animorphic transfer in the R2 release. Damned Manga. At a minimum we get what was done to the TV series at least. It just won't be the comeplete renewal package because ADV doesn't have the movie liscence. We have to depend on Mangle, which means we're screwed for now on the movies. This is probably why it's being called the Platinum version instead of Renewal, so there won't be any issue about what will be missing. -
Opinion: best starfighter designs ever

I thought the narn and centauri vessels lacked artificial gravity. It's been a while, but everytime I saw the inside of a narn ship they were all strapped in to their seats. Possibly, but I know at a minimum at least the Minbari had artificial gravity. -

Babylon 5's bridge was in the rotating section. About all that didn't rotate on the "cylinder" core was the hangar section. As far as other ships (non human) yes they did have artificial gravity. When the White Star arrived they explained how it used a Minbari artificial gravity net (or something like that). The earth vessels most likely had the bridge and living sections in the rotating sections. Area like the hangar and engineering probably wouldn't need the a gravity net. I would like to think they'd get around like in gundam inthe other sections. Jump down to the hangar deck floor, have some slide handles in the hallway, and stuff like that. I always loved Babylon 5's designs. -
Those two need something better to do in the morning.

the clear and solid hair ones are evenly distributed. What's rare is the Minmei doll. Lucky.

At least the 3 old guys kept their Mk. II Monster in pristine, shiny, fully capable condition.

Another amazing work of art.

Yeah, who would have thought such a small craft could demolish the largest and most powerful cap-ship in SW. Blind stupid rebel luck.
