I have to take air duster cans to my stuff every other week or so to keep the dust off. My room gets real dusty quick too. Sucks. Nice collection, gotta get me a Spidey.

Yeah, you'd definitely need to grab a new scan of it at 300 dpi or it'll come out looking fuzzy at best. OK, just checking. Anyone have CD case covers to scan then? They've got be on there at least.
-
You actually bought one?!? Ewwww. No thank you.

Gotta be from the game. Unit 1 has that hideous armor on it , and the right one looks like some kind of new "Jet Alone" model, so that would be the bad guy mecha.

I've thought about buying a Strike Roy and repainting it to make a Hikaru Strike as well, since Yamato doesn't seem to want to release one. I'm already going to make a Kakizaki. Just need the time to do it. Have the valk set aside already to do it with.

Well, personally I love the 1/60s and might have recommended them if there were different options on the list. Like, if the two 1/48s (which really can't be had for $200 unless you get lucky) was: one 1/48 and one 1/60 I might have seen fit to recommend that. The other issue is the imperfect transformation. Personally, it doesn't bother me, and I'd rather have the closer accuracy to the show in Battloid that the removable legs allow than a large external swing bar like the MPC has. OTOH if he was only a casual Macross fan I might even recommend something like one or two 1/60s and then spend the money on other stuff. If he's only a casual fan then spending the dough on the 1/48 might not be worth it and that'd allow him to get a Valk and still have lots of money left over for other stuff. So, given the options you presented, I don't think it makes sense to suggest the 1/60s, but with different options available I'd definitely recommend one to anyone who doesn't mind the removable legs. Yeah, that's true. If he's only a casual fan, he might be better served getting some variety by picking up a couple 1/60's, which I still like in general BTW, and use the rest for some Alternators/Binaltechs. Get the most bang for his buck that way.

I think the idea of Max and Roy having a kid is a bit more frightening than virgin sacrifices, but thats just me. So that's what you get when two vampires mate.

For the logos, I have 800 x 600 pics of those two at 72dpi (I think) like most of us have. For the simple design they need to be higher res, so I guess we would need scans for that. Now, if we use the "mech" design for example, the blue logo only needs to be very small actually on the top. Would the logo images I have be good enough as they are since they they don't really need to be blown up at all? The top is supposed to be 600 x 1641, but a lot of that is going to be black space on the mech's top.

Yeah, I'd like to know exactly where that colony hit in 0083. Some tie-in would be nice to see. Maybe see one of the characters in the new footage.

I still wouldn't want one as my shadow buddy.

Goddam camel spiders. I'm so happy I didn't see one when I went to Kuwait. Egress (me), and Fuel Shop shared the same trailer in one of the hangers in Al Jaber. There was an aquarium by the trailer that some guys would use for camel spider/scorpion fights. They would put one of each in there and watch the spider kick the scorpion's ass. They are supposed to be a bitch to kill, like the toughest of cockroaches. Need a boot, broom, knife, or BIG book. Whoever that is that's holding those two spiders is a brave, brave man, because it would't take much for those two to decide to pounce on him. I sure as hell wouldn't risk it. They do have a numbing agent, and nice pincers for teeth. The horror story I heard was one nibbling on a guy's ear while he was asleep and he didn't feel it or notice till he woke up with a spider next to him. Freaked me out there. Another reason why they tell you to shake your shoes out in the morning before putting them on, as well as the scorpion. There are also lots of mice and stuff. In 6 weeks wwe killed 4 mice in our tent with our old-school mousetrap. It was January to March 2000 when I was there, so it wasn't season for the spiders and scorpions yet. Thank god. I hate spiders. I also heard a story about one deciding it didn't like one of the fuel shop guys, chased him a little, he got up on a table, and it was jumping trying to reach him. That may or may not have been exaggerated. I have also heard stories of them hiding under the sandbags the army has been putting on their tanks. So the guys there have to constantly check the tanks. Nastiest damn things EVER.

All right! That was great. I do believe that's the first actual custom of the sex valk.

Only a matter of time before they do.

At a minimum the pilot on the left should have some wih the Q-rau, not as an "upgrade" in this set. I'm still happy for the new Millia goodness though.
-
I saw it yesterday. I liked it a lot. It was a simple good fun action movie. No more, no less. Good viewing.
-
Yeah, for the timeframe of episode 3, they should have Victoy-class Star Destroyers, and Y-Wings, and some of the other "older" ships from the OT that are brand new in ep-3's time.
-
Ah, those are funny. Always liked the dendrobium one.
-
Well, people comlpained that she had no ass in the Q-rau's figure, so your prayers have been answered.
-
"3 body set" sure does. 3 good figures for under 3000 yen is pretty good.
-
Holy crap, now that's what should have come with the Q-rau! Looks like a set of 3 figures? Don't see any posable joints, so I guess it's just a good set of PVC figures. I will be getting that.

for 200 bucks, get 1 x 1/48 and either BT-03 or -04
-
Damn!............. Hobbyfan finally got them in stock! I hope my preorder ships soon.

It'll be July or August, my guess. It was said earlier in this same thread that they missed the May date, like usual.

Give me a LE Angel Birds or Blue Rose.
