I think the shallower angle is more for the super parts when they come, I tried putting the super parts with the 30 deg bank on my 1J and it will tip over easily without adding counter weights to the base That said, I notice the skull on the heat shield of Roy’s 1S seems off center, are all copies llike that, as I don’t seem to have that issue with my Hikkie 1S Also, do you think its possible to 3D print the extra adaptor piece to get the 15 deg bank angles, as I did not get a Roy, since I could not get it at MSRP, and most likely will never. but still would like the shallower bank angle, will a 3DP piece be able to work? Thank you

Thanks for the explanation, its much clearer now, how they achieve the less banking angle, or more if you want.

Quick question about the special stand, is it the same as the one for the VF-1J execpt for the text, or the points of banking is more/different. I have not gotten mine as I don’t think I want to feed scalpers at this point, even for $30-50 more.

But before these 2 sets, I always remember them selling all their dx stuff at a slight mark up to msrp, I guess they are going the way of other shops? That said, does amiami or hlj also do this, I know cdjapan have soem that are inflated but those are labelled as proxy items

Did AE ever sell pre orders at inflated price before, I don’t seem to recall them doing that

Interestingly, when the SSP 1st came out, I did suggest that there might be detail under the leg booster panels but was shot down, it is nice that some one actually did try it and succeed, I was too chicken to try it myself back then, but I had a hunch.

I mean compared to the hikkie pilot in the VF-1S, I was wondering if they used the same mold or they actually made an effort to make him chunkier, just curious thats all, since they made a difference between TV Roy n the rest of the TV pilots

Haha oh well, I was watching those pages and for me it went from coming soon to the new price in one refresh, I guess you 3 (or more) have very fast refresh. On a side note, I just went to a local shop in Singapore and lo and behold, they have 2 sets of SSP movie versions for sgd$220 and 3 new sets of hmr vf-4G, don’t know if they do overseas shipping though, shame that I do not need them as I already have my own set of either

I don’t think anyone got those below msrp, it was at that price with coming soon tag, the moment it opened, it was above msrp, unless it all happened very quickly.

I really doubt any one retailer has enough units to sell to every member here, thus the 1 per unit rule is fair, not everyone wants multiple, and if some one wants multiple don’t you think its fair they find the other copies the hard way instead of denying some one else at least 1 copy? If a said retailer has more stock on release day, then I think they can release it to anyone whom already bought one, so much so that they can even sell their excess stock to one guy and I don’t think anyone will cry foul. I have been thur enough pre order disappointments to know that the demons are real.

I know the way they word it and all the information is no cannon, but the drawings look like proper line art and wonder who made them, it does not look like fan art, but then again you never know
