  1. You're right about that gunpod, it does seem small. Maybe increasing the diameter might help. However, that is one gorgeous looking plane. It's three-form or fighter only?
  2. Bah! Why insist on using logic on a perfectly good fanboy idea like this?
  3. Hey! Those guys are already taking orders for the Shadow! Hey, Kevin. I want to preorder one too! Preorders are coming soon. -kevin Any idea when you might start taking payments for the Scott-type Alpha? I've got two on pre-order with you, and I've never been happier to send someone else my money
  4. I love Long's artwork, especially his Robotech RPG works. They rock.
  5. He IS getting his own movie. It's been confirmed, but nothing more than that has been released yet.
  6. It was called Human Target, I think. Pretty decent show, but I think it only lasted one year or less.
  7. Hey, Super Force had its charms. One of the few "true" power armours ever seen on TV/movies. M.A.N.T.I.S. was pure cheeze, but enjoyable cheese. Tour of Duty rocks so much rocking that it's hard to gauge it's rockingness. Fortunatly, it's a daily show up here, so I can watch most of it over and over again
  8. I'd love for any and all of those options
  9. The only reason that IMAI kit looks better is because it was painted by Jung. That's the thing about model kits, they only look as good as the artist can make them.
  10. What? That little lump of plastic actually attaches to the pilot figure? Either way, I'm really impressed with this toy. More pics!
  11. That's the worst part, by far.
  12. I'd heard that it was even beneath Carl Macek's standards, and that he has actively opposed (as much as he can) a release. Coupled with the fact that 1) HG/Carloco no longer have the rights to Megazone 23 IIRC, and that 2) the film was a massive flop (it only was screened in Dallas and on a spaceship for a human and two smartass robots ) I doubt we'll ever see it released. Good riddance at that.
  13. Do you have any more pics of the Alpha? I want more picture goodness so I can totally convince my credit card that preordering two from VE.com was alright and that it won't kill me
  14. Damn, I never even knew that existed. Huh. Learn something new everyday, I suppose.
  15. Two new pictures have been released. First up is another of the ladies, Nova Satori. Also available is a picture of Zor Prime, but who wants to see him?
  16. Protecting their own slow-moving and immobile targets against other waves of hordes and hordes of Zentradi EDIT: Now that I've had some time to think about it, I actually enjoyed the solo slant to the missions. To me, it showed just how outnumbered the humans were against the surviving Zentradi, and nowhere near ALL of them were humanized and pacified. It also showed just how rare the VF-1 was on the planet. There were not that many VF-1s (or Destroids, for that matter) to help guard and rebuild the entire planet, so it's only natual that they'd be outnumbered more often than naught.
  17. Greate shading. I love it!
  18. Did anyone go to the Robotech booth and see the new game footage?
  19. Actually, I think there's a problem with this statement. I see a startling similarity between the main characters in all the Macross series'. I mean, I look at Hikaru, and I easily see Shin and Isamu doing exactly the same things, with exactly the same responses in the mecha. They all start off as hot-dogging, authority-resisting types. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a new type of main character.
  20. I just gave in to temptation and put in a pre-order for two of these suckers in at VE.com. So I'll be able to nyah-nyah at all of you who didn't
  21. Surf over to RT.com and see just what sort of loyal fanbase there is.
  22. I was just about to ask that. According to the novel, the girl's name is Ursula.
