  1. One thing I am wondering, Graham. With these GN-U figures, they made it to the front page as breaking news, but some of the Revoltechs have been out for many months, and more upcoming ones have been announced, and they are not even listed on the site's toy menu gallery. Please don't take this the wrong way, but it almost seems as though you are really pushing the GN-U figures, and bashing the Revoltechs at every opportunity, yet the fan reaction very much favors the Revoltechs over the GN-Us.
  2. I am quite disappointed. I am a huge YF-19 fan, but this just looks awful. Being a Revoltech fan, it was already decided that I would get those, but I was still planning on picking these up when I had some extra cash, but that motivation has just left me with a harsh Dear John letter. I will still probably get the 21, as it does look much better, but the 19 just has me in awe of how they could mess this up. Seeing as how Yamato is, as Graham stated earlier, kinda jumping on the bandwagon with small, posable figures since they are really getting popular (due to Kaiyodo's plastic magic), it's kinda weird how they have missed the point entirely. The price just voids the deal altogether. What is the point of small, (theoretically) posable figures that cost $50 a pop? It's not the US dollar, as it has only affected import Revoltech purchases for me by about $1.50 a figure. Even at $40-45, this is not worth it.
  3. That's not Street Fighter, its Fist of the North Star where the guy is exploding.
  4. Well, he's a good guy, and I always eat his food, so I feel bad.
  5. I thought that was old news. I heard that a couple months ago, assumed everyone else did too.
  6. Not entirely. This may not apply to Macross Frontier, but for the Transformers movie last year, it took something like 36 hours to render a single second of CG. I know anime is nowhere near that obviously, but hi-res stuff still can take some time if done really well.
  7. I agree with you. One interesting point to keep in mind is that with modern PMCs like Blackwater, all of its members are already seasoned from having served in regular military units.
  8. Taking things a bit personally? I don't recall anyone mentioning you, just a general mindset on the thread, calm down. Also, calling someone anal is not name calling, it refers to the psychological trait of being anal retentive, which perfectly describes some of the goings-on in this thread. it is not a fundamentally negative trait. Again, calm down.
  9. I guess I have this rare gift (or fault, depending on how you see it) to just immerse myself in a show and not pick every detail apart. Some posts in these threads just seem to ruin the fun. It's great to pick up on some cool little details, but I am wondering how some people here even enjoy watching shows. Maybe Yamato could use some of you guys for their QC department, then everyone would be happy.
  10. That's far from a rumor.
  11. Me too, I can't get enough of those Q-Raus. I know the VF-25s are the stars of the show, but I hope the Q-Raus get plenty of screentime. Yeah, it's great.
  12. I would rather have Klan be a normal Meltran. It's not killing me or anything though.
  13. Wow... So um, anyways... I loved this episode. When the Q-Rau opened its cockpit, I was alomost expecting it to be outfitted for a normal human, but was quite pleased to see a full-sized Zentradi causing the ground to shake. I loved how Klan says that she loves the Q-Rau because even after 1000 years, they still work perfectly. So I assume this "new" model of Q-Rau was just a refitted old one? As others have said before, this series is great for old time fans. It almost feels like the first true sequel to the original, and is ending up to be much better than I thought it would.
  14. Some moron just edited the Revoltech Wikipedia page, completely trashing two tables and deleting a section of text, all because they have no idea how to edit or add to tables properly. I really wish people would stop editing the page to include rumors.
  15. I have not gotten any of the Medicom RAH figures before. I do plan on getting the RAH Motoko, which looks kick-ass. I'm not a huge DBZ fan. I watched most of it (my roommate is a big fan), but I do have a soft spot for Vegeta. If the Goku I got for my roommate is nice and I like the Motoko, I'll probably get a Vegeta.
  16. Well, they wouldn't if the upper boot wasn't so big.
  17. ANd like all things, its only the people who have problems that chime in. I'm sure that there are plenty of people who have had no issues at all. If you are a F S/n fan, then get her.
  18. We have had some discussion on our Flickr group. LINK
  19. I have one preordered and payed for as a present for my roommate.
  20. All of the viral stuff is hidden on the dvd. If you go to the scene selection, go the the last section for chapters 12-16, and just wait there for like 2 minutes, a 17th scene will appear and you can find all the viral videos. Didn't really see anything new. Also, on the setup menu, click to the left or right at one point and there will be a helicopter appearing over the Statue of Liberty. Click it to see a little video they made of the cast and crew.
  21. Just the Leader Class.

    Macross Revoltech

At least with the Revoltechs, I know what I'm getting. With the GN-U's I'll have to wait for the second run before I get one where the arm doesn't snap off.
  23. one klump, here is an article on the figure you were asking about. Assemble Borg Revoltech
