  1. Wrong again. That one is made by FEWTURE. So what were you saying about BBTS, J9? HLJ CDX
  2. Medicom 1/6 Motoko is up for Early Bird at HLJ for $150. Great price! LINK
  3. Controls took me a while to get, mostly becasue I just played through MGS3 again a few weeks ago, but once it clicked, its so great. Look great, I have it on my 24" HD monitor in my room with Dolby 5.1.
  4. All it takes is some nail polish to the ball joints, and its perfect. For $40, you can't beat it. I have one, one of my favorite toys, and have another on the way. Just look at my gallery, thats right out of the box, mine stands fine.
  5. Yeah. I ADORE this Mega House version, but the Major that come with the GS version is wonderful.
  6. Summer Version DX Yotsuba is up for preorder at HLJ. LINKY-POO
  7. I know the Mac+ Revies could not be as large as the GNUs, but I have been thinking that the VF-1s were purposely made so small so as the rest of the Mac Revies would at the very least be larger than them. Take the Regults. They are not perfectly to scale, but at least not too far off, and remain larger. If the VF-1s were made larger (i.e., the size of most other Revies) than the lack of scale would have even been more apparent and turned off some people.
  8. I doubt they could do it right because the wings are double-jointed in order to fold correctly into Battroid mode.
  9. You have to push the top part of the cockpit down to where it seperates, and then the head will have room to move. DO NOT FORCE THE HEAD. The easiest way to do this is when you are first separating the head, when you "pry" it open, it will force the cockpit to separate and slide down. But you can still do it now. It's tight, but slide the top of the cockpit kinda up and forward at the same time.
  10. Did anyone grab a 21 yet? Looking forward to the opinions. Only read of people getting the the 19 and 11 so far.
  11. Here is the picture from the manual addendum. See the picture on the top right? the little circle is showing that small pinhole. Just like in that pic, it should be all the way up next to the blue. Chances are that on yours, that hole is further down. Hope that helps. PICTURE LINK
  12. I had the same problems with the legs overlapping in fighter mode. Here is the solution: When transformed properly into fighter mode, the legs (knees) should not even touch each other (look at the manual insert pictures). The reason they are touching is because the back of the knee is still hyper-extended like it is in gerwalk mode. Tat last click is hard to notice, but I would almost bet that you need to push the white back part of the knees up one more click. There is a good reference to do this: there is a small hole on that white part of the back of the knee. It should be almost all the way up next to the blue. IF that hole is lower than that, your joints are extended too much. It does require some pressure to get that last click.
  13. I agree about the pain in the ass part. The two main pegs (the ones that double as screwposts on the backpack) are a PAIN to get pegged down in fighter mode. I still love it, though, so don't get me wrong. And I know I will get better at it as I transform it more. Also, unlocking a fully compacted backpack takes a LOT of force. Also, the side-sjirts pop out from the body in battroid mode. I wear, every time I do that, I just KNOW I am going to break it. I really hope they loosen up over time. It's a very photogenic figure, and I am glad I bought it.
  14. I'm not trying to point fingers at anyone, it's just a fact of the toy.
  15. The one thing that bothers me: because of the small feet, this thing will NOT stand as well as other valks. I have a 1/48 Strike Stealth, a YF-19, and a Nora SV-51, and they all stand better than this one. Does anyone wonder why most people are posing the 21 with a wide stance? Thats the only way to get a solid posture. Maybe it's just mine, but I really wish they ankles were tighter. I tightened the screws in the feet, which helped, but they still need to be tighter. I still really like this figure and think its an engineering marvel, but that is my one gripe. I can poke the YF-19, and he will barely sway. Good luck doing that with this figure. I'm going to make a video showing this after work today.
  16. Wow, thanks for all the positive replies. I thought they kinda sucked., to be honest (I usually have a lightbox, but this thing is way too big for it). And they nowhere compare to the Almighty Swoosh.
  17. Here's my gallery. Flickr Gallery
  18. ANd also, step 15 of Gerwalk to Battroid just shows a close-up of the little hook behind the ankle, what is the significance of that?
  19. Oh, ok. Sorry. Anyone have the backpack assembly come off? Mine seems to have a little too much looseness and has popped off a couple times. I'm sure it won't be too much of an issue as I get better at transforming it, and its better to pop off then to break.
  20. WOO HOO! Not bad for $200 shipped on ebay.
