Hey everyone. Here is a bit of a break from all the custom valks I have been doing. While this is technically not a model, I thought you might like to see. A member here commissioned me to re-paint their Biker Scout from Gentle Giant. Also used is a new base from germany I believe. I added all of the ground work. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

They are fragile and care must be taken when transforming them. However if you are careful there should be no major problem with chipping.

I would like to kmow as well? 396681[/snapback] Customs range from about $175 up to $450 or more. This Minmay Guard would be about $375.

Sorry, that's all of them.

I considered doing a VB6 but decided against it. They are just too loose and floppy for a custom paint job. It would have been difficult to keep from scratching the paint.

Hey everyone. Check out this Paris Act Minmay Guard that I just finished. Let me know what you think. As aways, thanks for looking. My next custom will be something a bit different..... stay tuned.

I use Tamiya masking tape only. Some people use Tamiya to just mask the edges and then use cheaper tape to fill in the other areas. I just use Tamiya for everything.

Pull off the access panel that is located between the tail fins. Remove the three screws and it should be pretty self explanitory from there. Just be careful removing the panel. Use something flat and thin the pry it up and gently lift. Come in at a low angle, there are two locating pins that will snap off if you try to pry it all up from one side.

No masking on the camo, all done freehand with the airbrush. I did not photoshop any of the photos. I was moving the lights around so that changed the tone.

Yes, all of my work is for other people. PM me and let me know what you are interested in.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. The weathering process sometimes will make the decal edges more pronounced. I use Microscale decal solutions.

I worked for Saturn for about 9 years at their engineering center in Michigan. That was the best place I ever worked. I am now stuck on the metal side of the auto business supplying prototype material to GM.

Hey again. I just finished this clean 1D. This has Fulcy's hollow head lasers. I highly recommend these lasers, they are awesome. This kit went together much better than the first one I did. All of the parts were rigid and fit very good. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

If anyone is serious about a repaint let me know. I can quote you a price.

Thanks again everyone. Those are TV hands. However there is also a set of DYRL hands for this.

The decals where custom made to fit the valk. Anazasi did an excellent job as usual.
