I recently acquired a couple of statues of Rei and Asuka. It looks like it has the trademarks and all that, and one of them even has a '97 WF winter on the base. Just curious to know if these were ever recasted or if the ones I've got are originals. I'm thinking of repainting them or having somebody repaint them for me.

ok, I just looked up Oriental in the dictionary and it does include people. but I've always been taught to use Oriental on the objects of the Orient like furniture, clothes, instruments. Thus, I don't like it when people call me Oriental. I'm Chinese, but if you can't tell, just call me Asian. and to add, I think it's a very generalized term...almost as bad as calling black people black and all light skinned/brown haired people white, but I don't really mind it.

I wonder about that as well..... Man...you're all yammie-whores. The "flame-effect" on the box is so amateurish photochop. I realise that some of their box art is quite crap like the 1/48 Fast/Strike packs, and the disco M&Ms.... damn, I figured your collection would be greater with all the 1/48's you have. guess they're all locked up in their respective coffins. what a shame...you should let them out in all their glory! but it looks like you got some room for other things to come in so that's good. nice display case too, where'd you get that from? I like that mirror idea, makes it look more spacious.

i would say, low viz top, vf-1a max least. everything in between should be average prices.

buy dvds . at $4-$5 a pop Well... If you bought them at those prices... then you got ripoff .... and heavily haha tell me about it, that's almost as bad as american prices! I would say HK is the place to go if you want to find cheap toys.

there deosn't seem to be any specific order, and i don't think bandai has made a list of what's to come. but i cant wait for them to make gemini...anybody guess why?

OMG that's beautiful! I'm glad they got rid of the bicep armor they had on it in earlier protos.

the trippiest thing about this toy is it comes with a pair of white gloves to handle it! when I first saw that on ebay I was like I'm still considering getting it as I like the design even tho I have no idea what it is(much like dancouga) and it's diecast and comes with an crack load of parts.

DAMN EXO! I thought you said you posted a lot of pictures of the hot girls there. all I see are games...*sigh* FF12 was pretty cool...so was world of warcraft...nothing else really interested me. maybe that cowboy bebop game, but didn't get to play it so dont' know how it went. that portable PS looks pretty sick too. nice graphics for a portable...but gotta see about the price. thanks Solscud for hookin it up with tix today.

let me be the first to say...I'm not so impressed. $30 for 3 PVC figures that aren't poseable...no thanks. if these came with the q-rau, that would have been a nice bonus but now you'll have to spend about $145 to get a q-rau with the figs. the wedding dress thing is a nice touch tho. and yah, if they made that and not the max, it'd be kinda stupid.

uhm, I dont' believe the jetfires came with diecast nosecones either. I could be wrong but I'm 99% sure I'm not.

while I can try to coordinate some parts, I will be absent from time to time due to my traveling. I know for sure in a couple of weeks I'll be gone for at least a month and a half. so I don't know if people would be willing to put up with my absense n whatnot.

no luck with toys. I was probably 5 when macross came out. and I just took whatever toys my parents bought me. only macross toy I got was a vf-1j 1/55. I'm sure it didn't cost too much as it was brought back from one of my dad's business trips. not a macross toy but I got an OG Saint seiya white Zeta fig for $25 way back when...it's worth a pretty penny now, depending on condition. =)
