  1. Is it normal for the 21, to have such a HUGE GAP between it and the FAST Packs underneath it? Other than that, the thing is a beauty.
  2. Seeing how SK loves ancient mythology.. How about: VF-25 Arjuna VF-25 Vimana ("A vimāna (Sanskrit: विमान) is a mythical flying machine, described in the Sanskrit epics." -Wikipedia) VF-25 Vajra (lightning bolt) VF-25 Argo (ship of the Argonauts) VF-25 Aegis
  3. Do they always wear Gundam uniforms/jackets at Bandai, or only when S.K. arrives with a Macross pitch for them? Seems to be a bit provocative to me.. In any case, I'm really looking towards seeing the 1/60. Hopefully better pics will show up soon.
  4. Interesting.. Two different scales, but both seem to have the same mold. Perhaps the bigger one is the toy 1/60 version. It would be the same size as the Yamato 1/60's it seems.. Really don't like the wing-kibble and the square crotch of the 25. Everything else is sweet.
  5. Fantastic news!! I can't wait for Valks which aren't VF-1!
  6. Who cares about the VF-1S! =P I've had more than enough of that jet, years ago. Bring on the destroids! Hopefully this is a prelude of things to come.. (Variable)Glaugs and Regults, anyone? OH YES. It's. About. Time.
  7. At least 45 times now. Can't wait for the rest. I sometimes have DYRL and Mac0 playing in the background when I'm working so those too could be around the same number of times I've watched them.
  8. My first edition Ivanov is pretty much without any problems at all. No QC issues whatsoever. Sure the wings drop down a bit with the boosters on, but those things are quite heavy!
  9. Woohoo! At least we're seeing MacFrontier toys/models (with FAST packs)! Looking forward to these, regardless who makes them. Would still love Yamato to make a 1/60 VF-25 sometime in the (near) future. Big question now is: When and how much? EDIT: LOL @ the last image.. Kawamori's looking at that model/thing, going: "WTF".
  10. My 25th YF-19 has the exact same prob with the nose. My normal 1/60 YF-19 is perfectly fine and the nose locks up very tightly. EDIT: I transformed it back into Fighter mode and the problem magically solved itself! Now the nose is nice and tight.
  11. Since I already got most of the "Hero" character VFs as 1/48 or 1/60 I'll be waiting for other paint schemes. Won't be getting any of the regular ones anymore, got enough of them already! XD
  12. Best looking VF-1 I've ever seen. Looks like the arms and legs have been greatly improved over the 1-48, not only in functionality (double jointed elbows? WOO!) but also in proportions. (those hands are VERY nice) Hopefully the knees will be double jointed so that the Gerwalk mode looks just as good as the VF-0, which has, in my opinion, the best looking Gerwalk mode. Period. What I DON'T like: VERY thin backpack. Looks deformed.. Hopefully they're below the 100$ price-range. If yes, then my wallet shall cry my a river.
  13. VF-0 - it's everything the VF1 is, but more handsome with a more realistic aesthetic. The rest: VF1, 25, 19, SV-51, 22, 2 and 4. The Metal Siren is something I wouldn't even call a Valk. It's more of a gundam/other sci-fi creation. The other valks in Mac2 looked better.. VF-2 series = simply amazing.
  14. No! My wallet! My poor, poor wallet.. Now I have to get the entire line again.. Hopefully these will be less expensive.. Still keeping my 1/48. Love my BIG Valks. The big question is.. Should I keep my old 1/60 VF-1 line? Will they be worth something in 25 years from now? =p
  15. Absolutely spectacular! This has by far, exceeded my expectations and blew me away, wanting more! The orchestrated music was simply awesome. Very epic, very fitting and the dance/electronic music, despite being overdone to a point of it being annoying to hear, is actually pretty darn good! It would be a crime for Yamato to NOT make and release a VF-25 with all the extras and armor it has. That thing is a beauty, and is currently my favorite Valk. No other toy company can do these mecha designs justice. MORE PLEASE..
  16. In my opnion.. Yamato is by far the better choice. Amazing looking, big valks with various accessories and paint jobs. As for Quality Issues go.. I rather have a product which is slightly faulty, but looks fantastic as the original designer had planned and crafted, rather than something which is sturdy but looks like a generic, quickly designed toy (Bandai) with little to no quality or care in the craftsmanship and design. If Yamato ended up releasing Macross F figures, I'd get as many as I can, as I did with their previous releases. If Bandai releases Macross F figures, no thanks. I'll pass. Never had any QC issues with my Yamato valks, which I couldn't patch up myself with a quick and simple solution.
  17. HOLY!! That Gerwalk pic under the Armored version has that old "SDF Macross" vibe to it. Reminds me a lot of when Hikaru gunned down one of the Pods in the very early episodes of the original Macross series. The VF-25 is a beauty. Hopefully Yamato will make a few of these, I'd buy em all up in a snap. Bring on the merchandise!
  18. Fully orchestrated: "WE WILL WIN" anyone? *grabs a hurl bag* If they do decide to base this loosely on the Macross Saga (which I doubt they'll do, without editing things very heavily, due to legal issues) - I wouldn't mind that much. Seeing a live action VF-1S... wow.. I'm shivering already! This will be a strange "return" to my childhood. Robotech got me into Macross and since then I never looked back at Robotech. Robotech's take on Protoculture is what killed the franchise for me. That... And the US Minmay..
  19. I have over six 1st release valks, all of them have 0 quality issues. Aside from a loose joint which is easily corrected there's nothing wrong with them. I'll be getting the 1st release for sure. Never know if there ever will be a 2nd release.
  20. WOOHOO!! Now.. Where's my 1/60 VF-4, VF-3000/5000? Those are the valks I'd shell out massive cash if they ever make them.
  21. Very excellent designs! I can clearly see how this takes place after the VF-22. I personally LOVE the green sketch on the bottom left, next to Kawamori. The heads look like something from aquarion but from what I can tell the finalized versions of these will look great! This reminds me a lot of what would later become Escaflowne, “Aerial Knightsâ€. Very exceited and looking forward to the new Macross!
  22. 1/48 VF-1S (Roy) VF-1A (Hikaru) VF-1A (Low Vis Ver.2) VF-1J (Stealth) 1/72 VF-11 (first release, broken hips) VF-11 (second release with FAST PACKS) VF-19 (VFX-2) YF-21 (FAST PACKS) 1/60 YF-19 VF-1S (Roy) VF-1A (Hikaru) VF-1A (Cannon Fodder) VF-1J (Hikaru + FAST PACKS) VF-1D 1/100 VB6 Koeing Accessories 1/48 - FAST PACKS x 2 1/48 - GPB (blue, standard one)
  23. Thanks to the 360, you can actually replace the game's music with something from TopGun. =P ('course you can do that with every game..) AWESOME PICS! Very looking forward to this!
  24. I can see it now.. The sequel to Macross: Flyer.... Macross: Poster In any case.. This is great!! Now to wait a few years for Yamato to release some new expensive stuff to make our wallets cry once more.
  25. Guess that means I'll be tossing out my old Toynami ones! They were riddled with QC issues, such as broken arms, head is tilted, legs are flimsy and broken plus it has two of the same intakes on the chest.. Not to mention my Toynami Voltron which has one of the Lion’s legs broken off, the joint to the yellow lion is broken, etc.. (I don’t play with my stuff, just transform them.. Look at them.. transform them again.. and so forth. =p) Hopefully this company is better! The mold sure looks awesome! Round edges.. Yummy! *waits for HLJ to put up pre-orders, if they haven't already*
