Mine just landed! I got a quick Q, though.. This little tab here: I fear it'll eventually be completely rubbed off soon.. Even as it is now, the the back of the jet snaps and holds tightly together. Is this little stub important, or is it ok if it disappears one day? Other than that, the 21 is AMAZING!!

The GNUs are looking better and better. A bit more detail and I would have gotten em all. I'm really hoping Yamato will release other valks for this line, and not just Mac+ or the generic VF-1. Needs more Mac Zero, Frontier, VF-3000, VF-4, VF-5000, etc. (Don't forget enemy mecha...)

Perfect! The only thing which bothers me is the unappealing back-pack thrusters. Other than that, this thing's a beauty! Hopefully Yamato will release other pain schemes this time. I'm tired of getting the same old DYRL VF-1S/A with the same colors, over and over and over again. However I did miss out on the old 1/60 and 1/48 M&M valks. Looks like now will be the perfect time!

Haven't seen the episode yet, but do they mention or show a "VF-0" on stage (or in the very least any kind of mecha goodness in this episode) ? Spoil me! (MacZero is my favorite Macross second only to the original series)

I'll be getting one of these beauties for sure, but would have gotten some more if the price weren't that high. Other than that, AWESOME! =O That thing is a masterpiece in every detail. Ground crew!! YAY! The most perfect and accurate rendition of the Tomahawk ever produced (to my knowledge).

Since SK is going with the Hindu theme: I agree with VF-27 "Shiva" - Shiva is the destroyer or transformer - The name Shiva, in one interpretation, is also said to have derived from the Dravidian word “Siva” meaning “to be red”. It is the equivalent of Rudra, “the red” RigVeda. (red destroyer transformer? Darn! The score is missing two of the best songs: The beautiful intro as heard in Episodes 3, 4, 5, etc and Alto's heroic theme (EDIT: nevermind! This one is on "Take Off"). Instead we get: "Ninjin Loves you yeah" . Overall the OST is nice. Here's hoping for a possible OST2!

The canopy hinge looks like it's been pushed inwards. That might explain the small gap, where it should be. I doubt the hinge has been removed entirely. Looks ok so far. Hope more improvements are on the way! Don't like how the upper arm is "split in two" in order for it to rotate... Unless of course the VF-25 is supposed to do that, which I don't think is the case. LOVE the cockpit (and pilot, woohoo)! It's right up there with Yamato's work. Keep it up Bandai. You'll get there soon.

Love the SDF-1 in silhouette, but the cast!? That movie would be a cosplay comedy with a film budget of over 10$ and even cheaper actors!

This episode was hilarious, even without the subs! (sure the animation took a nose dive but the content made up for it) Gotta love the cute drawing of the Vajra in that short scene before/after commercial breaks.

As far as Prototypes go. Yamato's proto's have always looked very similar, if not identical to the final product (to the extent of my knowledge). If this 1/60 VF-25 is anything near the way the final version will look like, then it'll be a instant pass for me. VF-25 Prototype First-Impressions: The canopy hinges are absolutely hideous, unnecessary and stand out more than anything. Overall, the 1/72 looks vastly superior to this lazy attempt. Here's hoping the final figure will either be a completely different sculpt, or at least have the prototype undergo massive changes before release. Hopefully Yamato will pick up the Frontier license soon and produce some more accurate and decent looking 25's. I rather have a QC riddled, but accurate looking VF, rather than another chunky monkey. Maybe I'm being too harsh, but I expected better from Bandai, even for a Prototype.

yes - yes I've had a few issues with Yamato's QC, but there was nothing I couldn't have fixed on my own. All my Valks are still in one piece. Cleary the excellent craftsmanship, attention to details, acuracy to the original linart and overall look, shine above any QC issue the Yamato Valks might have.

Vajra Regult?! O_O DO WANT! Bandai, please make models of these, k, thanks. Looks like the Vajra are controlled by pilots afterall.. The uniform looks very similar to the "shape" of the energy spike within one of them in Episode 5, where Ranka was singing "'Bout My Star"(?).

Just as I had feared with Bandai making Macross models/toys... The proportions are way off on that VF-25. Reminds me a lot of those Bandai VF-19 kits. Oh well. Won't stop me from getting a couple, though. :] Hopefully the toys will look better.

VF-27 HelloKitty (... it's pink afterall)

Where's the "Music" option? I watch mainly because of the story, and also because the show itself is a continuation of the Macross universe.

That pink Valk really does look A LOT like the SV-51. The "three toe" foot, the long shoulders, wing shape, chest area, and the tail fins attached to the arms. This series has a lot more connections to Zero as I had thought. *re-watches*

Did they write "hppt" instead of "http"on that poster? Lots of engrish.. From the YF-19 "Excaliver" to the many, many different names of "Sheryl Norm". I can't wait till I see the VF-25 "Mesaiya". Awesome songs!

WOW! The second pic, the YF-21 punching the 19... Absolutely beautiful! Definitely picking up two of the 21. Gotta love the gloss finish, too.

Great Episode, from what I could tell. Too bad Shinsen Subs aren't doing this series, so I can't find an english sub which works.. What is everyone using to play these .MKV and .ASS files? I tried WindowsMedia - Didn't work, WinAmp - nope, VCL - didn't work either, Quicktime/RealPlayer - nope.

That faceless valk looks SCARY! Like the nurses in Silent Hill. Freaky.. Other than that, awesome pics! The 171 looks great, aside form the huge head. XD
