Good question. I was wondering the same. Like max factory, good sile company, even yamato? Banpresto is famous for gashapon and I have a bunch of that stuff but it is a different type of product so not even comparable. I hope that it is up to par with good smile, alter, etc. because the price is in the same level as theirs for the same sized figure. If the quality bites then I will be bummed. However from the pics that are available on overdrive the sculpt looks pretty darned good. Hopefully it will have a refined finish up close and good even painting.

It seems that terradactyl is no longer a word. Pterodactyl is though. I have to say that I am crushed that my favorite dinosaur (terradactyl) is not only not considered a dinosaur any more but also had its name taken away. Werent there a couple of transformers that were terradactyls? Anyway, Shoji Kawamori probably loves terradactyls and Pterodactyluus.

Good points but consider the megahouse ride armors. Those are even more expensive and we shell out. It is all relative. The more I see this, the more I like it. I much prefer it to the 1/60 sulpt thus far. I agree that it is too much money and the ride armors too but still my addiction prevails!@

I finally finished building my 1/72 VF-25 kit. I broke the leg in the upper thigh inner skelleton but used some cement to fuse it back. Still need to sticker it up. Transformation is painful so I will be keeping it in Battroid mode. It is a very nice model and it was a lot of fun but it took a whole lot of time to build. I want the others but dont know if I will ever make the time to build them.

It is an interesting idea. I rarely think in those terms. But personally I would rather look at 3 beautiful girls for 2 hours than some dudes but that is just my personal preference. I liked the Charlie's Angels movies and personally had no problem gawking. Also, the Alien's movies (especially the second one - Aliens) are some of my favorite sci-fi and I think that sigourney weaver does a great job in all of them. In blade Runner my favorite parts are the ones with Sean Young and Daryl Hannah were my favorite parts and they were very well matched with the talents of Harrison Ford and Rutger Houer so that one was pretty well balanced in terms of gender.

I voted VF-0 and it was a hard choice but it just looks so great in all three modes. As far as a beautiful sculpt, I think it just takes the cake. SV-51 and 1/48 VF-1 were the runners up in my mind. I am not surprised that not many people voted for VF-0 though.

Member Wicked Ace has done at least one (probably more) VF-0 custom. Maybe PM him for some practical advice. I agree with Matt that it looks awesome straight out of the box. Also Panel lines can be added without dis assembely.

That would make the coolest and geekiest guy at the range. Good plot for comedy though.
