diorama stuff in 1/48.

Lots of us have been demanding this for years.

I would like them to.

I really like the looks of the CMS hoquet figure but at $75 it is a bit much for a tiny little toy. Am I crazy?

Well before I answer a) I am going to tell you about the even cooler diorama tha RON5864 made HERE The other one was cast by mslz22 and may still be available if you PM him. you can see more of that HERE. The other one is from Kotobukiya mechanical chain bases and are available from HLJ. But yeah dioramas are great and I am actually working on a project to double the size of the RON5864 diorama to include an airlock bay door. I have just started cuttting the styrene today. I will post a thread about it at some point. Rons work is astoundingly beautiful and inspired me to try out some stuff myself. Just get some foam board, styrene bits from the hobby shop, some spray paint and masking tape and some glue and you can put together something pretty cool. b) Yes those are Kotobukiya Gurren Lagann models at least the Daiyaksaier, Kingkittan and the winged version of Gurren Lagann are. They are cool. Very cool. However the winged gurren lagann is a bit floppy and I would have rather bought either the prebuilt version or another version. The Daiyakeier (spelling) and kingkittan get 4 thumbs up. Great kits, very easy to build and very cool. c) yeah, I love the VE-1 and VT-1 and do not plan to ever let those go.

THIS THING IS JUST TOO EXPENSIVE!!! I know that everyone wants to debate economics right now and I dont really want to anymore but I will say that this toy is just too expensive. I have wanted one since the first one came out and still do not have one because I just cant spend that much on that size of a toy.

Yeah Chungking express is a CLASSIC film. Im not too much into the bloodbath John woo stuff anymore. I have heard that Takashi Miike makes some good stuff. One of my buddy is wayyyy into him right now. I have Sukiyaki Western Django in my netflix queue right now.

Yeah, the side parts should have been included. But we have been begging them since we heard about it way before the release and... um... nothing... what? One thing that IS bothering me is the GNU with the fp parts. Why must they have come out with an FP version now and not just give it to us straight from the get go. I really like the GNU figures. I like them much better than those cheap revoltechs regardless of their amazing poseability but I dont want to buy the YF-19 and YF-21 all over again for the fast packs. The revys at least came with the FP to start with. Problem is that I dont like the way they look.

Yeah. I agree. More macross would be best. Something makes this look a bit Kiddy to me. Does Kawamori have a kid? Maybe he is doing the Lucas thing.

I want to know why those dolls are so expensive, the ikki tousen ones and the minmei. they were like $600-$700 each IIRC.

I just dont know what to think about this. It could be really cool or really lame. I love Kawamori and I love robots but I am not a fan of basketball. The animation looks good and I like the music but I dont really see myself getting into this anime. I am just finishing Neon Genesis Evangelion and Gurren Lagann (I am watching them back and forth) and I am feeling like watching more stuff along those lines. I will give it a fair chance though. Strange as it may appear at first. I liked the mecha for planet engage kissdum better although I have not seen the anime yet just the mecha designs.

I agree with fifbeat. I agree with Graham too. I have had great experiences with my yamato Macross figures and I am extremely thankful that they exist and are so awesome. In the end I wish the figures cost less money because I want more of them. So I am greedy too.

I have a few busou shinki figures. They are very cool designs but really difficult to get together, pose and stay together. Once I get the pose I like I leave it forever as the figures explode when you breath on them. But they are very cool and I am glad that I got the ones I did get. I have stopped collecting them though as i am trying to narrow down my collecting. HLJ.com has them for decent prices and I actually got some from ebay vendors but of course always be careful on ebay. I think that tisinc99.com has some, or used to. hlj.com is one of my favorite vendors. Overdrive also has some over-drive-inc.com
