It is too early to tell for me. So far I have already paid for one VF-1D. I want the VF-1J hikaru with super parts but just cant afford it now. Other than those I will probably be tempted by the Ostrich and Elintseeker if they make those. However if they make Minmei guard valks (moon and/or paris) then I will DEFINITELY get those. So it looks like maybe 6 total for me. But then again we will have to see what happens. I am also tempted by the Max TV type.

That is a bummer. I am glad that I did a simple build but it was difficult and I do not want to have to take 30% of it apart again. But I will if I need to.

I voted buy it. Consider it a Ramen Cleanse Diet. MSG never killed anyone right? Plus a juicy 1/2 pound cheezeburger with bacon will taste SOOOOO much better after being deprived for a spell. It is like when you quit drinking for a while and then you become a cheap date again. That alone makes it worth the $$. Plus think about your arteries. One practical reccommendation I do have is to not use the flavor packets but instead buy a little tub of Miso paste and use a spoonful of that in the hot water instead. That is MUCH healthier than the MSG crap. Also you can get cheap vegies if you go to your local farmers market right before they close the farmers often give vegies away that they cant sell. The VF-9 has great Gerwalk and Fighter modes but I dont like the battroid that much.

Pardon my ignorance but what is "kira"?

Were the following mechs among that listed on the bandai ad? VF-9 VF-14 VF-3000 Those along with the VF-4 and the VF-0D are the mechs that I want most. I would preffer by yamato but will be happy with bandai if they do it first. Those 5 designs are some of kawamori's most creative and beautiful.

I got to thining about this realistically and considering non existing toy budget and have decided to just get the Luca DX for now and wait on the Machkail version. I just cant drop $400+ at once. I cant even do the $200 but will make it happen anyway to get the Luca. Luca's Recon messiah is the Elintseeker of the new millenium. Cant miss that. Then there is the RVF-171EX which will be nice too if they ever make it.

I agree that it is one of the best episodes of Frontier. One of the main themes in Macross is that music and love (and cluture and kissing) can overpower these war-mongering aliens. That is cool IMO. And being a musician makes it even more so for me.
