Yeah!!! I just got my defender in the mail (Finally) shipped SAL from HLJ. I am already quite impressed with this figure. It is very sturdy, has great articulation, cool features and it looks fantastic. I am going to panel line it with a gundam marker first. Then I may try to do some custom decals on it and/or some light weathering. I am very excited. I have found that it looks really cool with the shoulder parts taken off and the cockpit cover removed exposing the pilot. I will be displaying it like that probably. I have to say it looks much better in person than in the pictures. I am very happy with this purchase. Great work Yamato! Thanks.

What tool is best for cutting styrene sheets? Especially the thick ones? I have been running my panel liner over and over but it is a drag. The exacto does not work well on the thick stuff.

The movie version does look nice. I like the new "eyes" and the Boota figure and the new gun. The new hair does not do it for me so it is cool that it comes with the hair up too. I will probably get one. I already have 2 of the first release. And, yeah, where can I watch the movie? I wanna see that!

And YES, if there was a nice Nanase figure I would probably buy that but it would not look like an underaged girl like Ranka does. Maybe I thought Ranka was 13 beacuse she looks it whereas Nanase looks 19.

Anyway I like Ranka's character in Frontier but I am not going to get this figure.

The fact is that this is a figure based off of a bombshell/pinup style aircraft marking which are supposed to be of attractive women wearing little to no clothes BUT the "woman" is a 13 year old girl.

Anyone who has seen the pixar film, The Incredibles, Knows that capes are very unsafe.
