    yamato's next move

Blasphemy!!!! VF-3000 is an awesome design. One of the best IMO. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
  3. When Robotech first aired in the 1980s and I saw the even just the introduction it was love at first sight. Now of course that is technically not Macross purely. So then it was when I saw DYRL in 1998ish (cant remember clearly) that I got turned on to MACUROSSU!!!!
  4. Awesome!!!! Thanks for the pics macrossman.
  5. For the record. I am still very happy with my VF-1D and the only reason I mentioned the canopy not closing all the way was because someone here asked if anyone elses were like that. I am still going to buy Yamato Macross figures (funds permitting of course) and am still a very happy customer/proponent of Yamatos macross figures. I am really looking forward to the Ostrich and just cant wait to see pics of the new Elintseeker. I can imagine that the v.2 VE-1 will be a masterpiece.
  6. How about a model kit of the Macross11? Thank you Mr. March.
  7. Which prediction was that?
  8. I cant remember if mine ever did close all the way. hmmm... I am so glad though that my shoulders have not exploded or cracked yet. My vf-1d is super tight and super nice (but it does not have super parts yet). I am going to take the pilots out of the cockpit and see if it will close then.
  9. Great Progress there. I am excited about this project. Keep up the great work. And please put me on the list of people who want a kit when it is ready.
  10. Lucky!</Napoleon Dynamite>
  11. I am having the exact same problem. I can not get it to close.
  12. Well I was obsessed with Robotech when I used to watch it in 1985 then after a couple of years it kind of went to the back burner for a while until in 1998-ish I saw DYRL for the first time which re-sparked the obsession and I started collecting Macross toys. There was a spell in 2004 when I thought I was over it and sold my entire toy and comic book collection for next to nothing. But not long after that I was lurking the web and got a full on obession back again in 2006. For me I am thinking this is a bit of a lifetime interest. eriku's point about a Michael Bay movie is a good one. If a really bad Macross movie was made then I may be a bit embarrassed to be a macross fan. But when Bjork wore the swan dress, it was embarassing for everyone but I am still a hardcore Bjork fan.
  13. I found it. They did not use VF-25 or Armored rather Aemored? Link http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN959033
  14. Where? I cant find the page for it on HLJ.
  15. Thats it. Thank you and Awesome.
  16. Where is the image of the DX Armored in Fighter mode?
  17. Taking out alto is taking out oneself.
  18. Another thing I was thinking would make an awesome toy would be Ozma's Car that is painted like his valk. I dont remember but it is in episode 2, 3 or 4 maybe? And it would be double awesome if it came on a stand that ls the car-airlock that he goes down. You guys remember what I am talking about. Maybe I can dig up the screenshot.
  19. DOMO ARIGATO GOZAI MAS!!!!
  20. I was just looking through Mr. March's macross mecha manual and was appreciating how awesome the SDF-2 is.... How sweet would that be as a figure?
  21. What are the chances of a VF-25 Cannon fodder version? I was just watching episodes 3-5 and saw a few of those.
  22. I would love it if Bandai would make Ranka Lee's Valkyrie Backpack! That thing is sweet!
  23. What are the chances of Yamato making a VF Orguss Valkyrie? That would be sweet!!!
  24. I may get a spartan too, to keep my defender company. Probably the Blue one if they make that color, which they ought to. The thing with the spartan IIRC is that it shares no common parts with the other destroids so Yamato is probably milking their moulds on the other ones first before retooling for a new mecha design.
