I wonder if Yamato will ever make a VF-0D or a VF-4?

SO it says that the michael comes with speaker pods. Is that confirmed? I thought it was going to be a website exclusive. Anyone?

Maybe he was referring to the SDF-1. It was an old sig right? But now we already know about the SDF-1. Just another shot in the dark.

Maybe we could ask Moscato to make a 1/60 Spartan? However 1/72 is his scale.

I hope that the third unmentioned Valk is the VF-3000 though I also like the VF-5000 though just not as much as the 3000. But yeah, thank you Graham for "nearly confirming" the VF-0D and VF-4. That is very good news.

I think it was a Jung custom made for Sqidd. And I wish that yamato listened to you Graham, that would have been a MUCH better color scheme to do. And MacrossMan, yes low vis YF-19 would be awesome.

Thanks eugimon, took the words right out of my head. ntsan, Dont get me wrong. I am all about vehicles that transform into robots. And I am all about yamato macross transforming figures. It is just that I had been considering one of these transformers and I realized that I really just liked the F-15. So for me I just saved $100(+) to get what I really wanted.

There are some really nice completed die cast models of F-15 in 1/72 by several different companies. I just got one from Dragon. That way I have the fighter mode with good detail for $30. I can pretend it turns into a robot.

Does Yamato need a special license to do the Minmei guard schemes? Does Hasegawa own those? Here is an idea for YAMATO, a VF-1 DIY (Do it yourself) figure, all white, with no tampo printing, comes with stickers and decals, and with all the heads, A, D, J, S, and a plain white pilot. Then we get to have the fun to paint them up and decal them how we want. Would anyone go for that? I would.

I have never liked angel birds scheme. But check out this quick photoshop where the blue is replaced with gray... I am tempted to get this and paint the blue gray.

I still do not have a Variable YF-19, so this may be a good time to get one. I am thinking of the orange supernova scheme one but paint over the orange, maybe gray or maybe black and gray or black and red.

OK I have just emailed Mike to ask him if he will start casting these again. Also I have decided that if he will and I do get the more pieces then I will probably repaint my first kit to look more like what he has done in his sample build above with a lighter flat gray color and a weathering wash or oil wash. I also really like his use of red rust doors and would put some weathering master rust on them as well.

Definitely want to get some more pieces to extend the size of mine by two. I will use the same colors so that it matches and probably epoxy them together. The gantry is nice. I originally bought two of them for my small diorama and that was too much but like the picture above of mslz22's own quik-build, the two deep diorama with one gantry looks really good. I will probably mimick that. Yeah. The reason I resurrected this thread again was because Gunpod71 had interest, I am interested and if more are interested then we could probably get mslz22 to cast this again. I have not pmed him yet but I will probably next week. Hopefully more people will be interested and see this thread and PM him so that he has enough orders to make it worth his while. And Like I said earlier, this kit is really easy to build. I am a beginner and mine turned out pretty good.

It will come with a pilot figure (TV max style blue and white) and they are working on the shoulder problem and its release date has been pushed back probably because of that. It should be a really solid yamato figure.
