  1. I just posted this in the other thread too... That is a good point but I think that a lot of people here have already started saving and are willing and able to fork it over. This is what I would do if I was YAMATO... 1) Release the planned 1/2000 scale giant SDF-1 for those who have the space and money 2) Release a 1/3000 scale (like the size of the old Takatoku) DYRL SDF-1 for those who do not have the space and money 3) Release a 1/300 scale SDFM version SDF-1 as well.

  3. I like the Viral and the Nia. A figure I would really like is Nia in her anti-spiral dark gray with pcb pattern outfit.
  4. ...A bunch of nerds to geek out on macross with me. Really.
  5. My prayers are with you brother. That is quite a difficult situation. Of course just try to keep a level head and remember the most important things - your kids, your personal integrity and morality. Then no matter what happens or what she does, you will have done the right thing. Change is constant so just hang in there brother. Peace be with you.
  6. CF18 good points there. I think that the smallest it should be is 1/3000 scale like the old Takatoku and Matchbox versions. That is a nice size. Whatever scale they make it, the thing is destined to cost a fortune. Sure at 1/2000 with international shipping it is going to cost a fortune. But at 1/3000 it is still going to be outrageously expensive though international shipping would be a bit more reasonable although still costly. The 1/3000 scale may be more within more people's reach and would be very nice but if they do 1/2000 scale it will be extraordinarily unique as the only macross in that scale and that big (Aside from scratch built ones).
  7. If it fits through my door that is good. Remember these?
  8. Stone me now but the megahouse line is my favorite. . . woll622 what are the auction numbers?
  9. Graham master flash has mentioned that Yamato is considering doing this in a smaller scale. So it IS the Yamato one that this poll is about. I say they keep it at the 1/2000 scale. I personally can not afford one but even if it was smaller I could not afford one. I never got the WAVE one either but if Money floats my way when this comes out I would want it and I would want it BIG!!!!
  10. That is a cool diorama. It looks like it was a fun project.

    VF-1 Armored

Awesome work! Thank you for sharing and posting the great photos
  12. Yeah, if you are reselling I may want a defender if the price is nice and juicy!
  13. MaveRick, What color did you use for the Door? Is there a Spray Can version?
  14. True that. My 4 year old plays very rough with his VF-19 and it holds up quite well.
  15. Those look great! I am so tempted to pick up this lot too. I am so totally out of display space though. And out of money and credit but that never stops me!
  16. Maiden Japan, That is awesome work there. Did this get displayed at the toynami booth somewhere? It looks familiar.
  17. Definitely get a 1/55 Bandai VF-1 "chunky monkey". My 4 year old plays with his 1/55 Bandai valk all the time. These are super durable and great fun. It is also a toy that will last and he can have fun with for years or decades as most of us have.
  18. Yeah. I have been wanting both of them for some time. When the Air-Gear one came out I had it on preorder but cancelled for some macross stuff. Then the Kureha figure I have been wanting it but it is discontinued and people are charging a fortune on ebay. I was bidding for about a month on different Kureha auctions for that figure but I am not able to shell out the big bucks for it especially with so much macross stuff competing for my limited funds. I know that there are other Kureha figures but this is the only one that I want. The sculpt is just spectacular. Your macross factory is severely cool.
  19. Did megahouse make a Fuke? Will they?
  20. Yeah MaveRick, That is really inspiring work!
  21. Got my HLJ payment request! Yikes! I dont have the money for it now that I just bought a 1/48 stealth VF-1J!!! Got to sell some stuff now!
  22. MaveRick, Those are two of my favorite figures. Nice choices.
  23. It is available for purchase on Qbert's website https://www.thudrumble.com/products.aspx?productID=77
  24. Yo Matt! That is totally awesome! You are the envy of many (moreso than already).
  25. So you have probably all seen my other kitbash already many times but for those who have not here are a couple pictures. You can see all the pics at the gallery page HERE.
