This is really the perfect height IMO especially next to the other valks.

After seeing your post I glued mine together last night and started my macross kitbash on it. I will post up here the progress when I get a chance. Thanks for the inspiration and tips.

I would love to see it next to a 1/48 and a 1/60 VF-1 as well as a 1/72 and 1/60 VF-25.

WHY?!?!?! Why must is look so beautiful?!?!?! I would pose it next to my Yamato Nora. If I had the money now it would be mine... Someday. . . Someday I will get one. . .

This was a rough year financially for a lot of us, myself included, so I did not get a lot of Macross goodies. However the couple I did get made me very happy. The Yamato V.2 VF-1D takes first place. Totally awesome figure and the pilot figures are sweet. The Yamato Defender probably takes second place. Really great figure. Then the Bandai 1/72 Frontier kit. I got a VF-25 Alto, built it and then had to rebuild it a bit to put on the super parts. Great sculpt. If I had them then the VE-1 and VT-1 would be up there too.

My Nora and VF-0A Shin with Booster are two figures I will never sell. I will could be living in a cardboard box eating dog food but I would have those two figures (... and this lamp... and....)

Not to beat a dead horse but .... If they did do a new tooling and a new version I would hope that it would be a larger scale, maybe 1/24 scale ultimate detail. However then it would be $500 I am sure, unless they did it as a "kit" version for us to paint up and screw together like the upcoming blank DIY kit. Also I like everyone's ideas here. Lots of good stuff. Loving the LED light mobile tower accessory for the ground crew. That is a very practical idea.

Have it shipped to work and keep them at work hidden in a cabinet near your desk where you can open them and play on your break. That is what I used to do to.

Where are you getting these? I want to rip them too.

On the figure side it would be great to have little 1/60 standing figs of all the TV characters: Roy, Hikaru, Max, Kakizaki, Global, Misa, Claudia, Milia, Minmay, etc. If there was a SDF-1 Bridge Diorama it would have to have at least Global, Misa, Claudia and the bridge bunnies inside. I like the Bridge idea. Also flightsuit versions of the above (minus Global and Claudia I suppose as it is non-cannon). Sitting flightsuit TV roy Pilot is a MUST. Also some zentraedi in 1/60 like Khamjin and Laplamiz for sure as well as Bretai and Exedol.

And while I am at it I will re-post some Meltran and Zentran together Deculture pics that I posted a while back...

So I was watching Do You Remember Love the other night and the dramatic Meltran death from out of the Quedluun Rau was pretty epic. I took photos of it on my crappy digital camera and put together this montage in Photoshop. The Third image down I want to make as an iron-on for a tee shirt. But I thought to post up this image here.

Sort of but more like this that Maverick made based off of the old kit from the 1980s: Or like this that Ron5864 made: Or like this that Iceblue106 made: But have it be modular and expandable like the mechanical chain bases so that we can buy different sections at a time so that we can afford it but be pre painted and tampoed unlike the chain bases.

I think that a 1/60 modular and infinitely expandable macross factory would be INSANELY successful! Put that to #1 on my list! Diorama Time!!!!

Thank you Graham for starting this thread. I like your list already. A set of all the head types may be nice (A/D/J/S) Also if we could purchase individual pilots it would be good too. From your list the TOP THREE that I would want most are: 1.Ground crew and weapons carts. 2. Standing pilot figures. 3. Those pilot seats that another company made to simulate the seat rising out of the head in battroid mode. Then the next three would be: 4. Improved cockpit interior detail, i.e. more detailed ejector seat, instrument panel etc. 5. Added mechanical detail behind the visor. 6. Battroid mode side covers. But your mention of better hands, if they had all fingers fully articulating and in the style of the 1/48 GBP, then you can put that up to #2 for me (after ground crew and equipment. I am not sure if weapon carts would be enough would want the fire trailers and refueling tanks etc. too.
