I like my new toynami regult and am glad I got one. Definitely would get a Glaug if they made it. Definitely would get a Regult Scout type if they made it. Definitely would get a Gnerl Fighter if they made it.

IMO Tim Burton did a good job. I thought the visuals were fantastic. Not a perfect film but very entertaining and beautiful.

Yeah pretty much the same. I love SDFM for the story and DYRL for the visuals. I still have not voted on this poll though as I find it a bit difficult to make a final decision.

I have finally gotten my girlfriend to watch some macross. It is pretty exciting for me. She watched episode 1 of SDFM and liked it. She said that she liked the 80s animation, reminded her of watching cartoons as a kid. Then last night I got her to watch DYRL? all the way through with me and she really liked it. There was a lot that she wanted me to explain to her. Probably partly in due to the bad subtitles. She really liked animation style - much more than SDFM. But she said that the story was hard to follow having not seen the tv series in its completion. But overall she really liked the movie and said that she wanted to see it again and may even want to watch SDFM all the way through. She also loved the Minmay songs, especially Zero G Love, Shao Pai Lon, and DYRL?. I am pretty stoked. She said that since I watched Bridget Jones's Diary that she would watch macross. I think the next one I will show her is Macross Zero. So I just wanted to share my excitement with all of you. I am not sure if this is the right forum for this but I searched and searched and could not find a general forum on DYRL? the movie that looked better. And once she watches SDFM maybe I can have her join as a member here and vote on this poll. Over and out. ..

Thanks Maiden Japan... This is great news. I just bought the new battle pod (and am looking forward to it arriving) and I am glad that there is possiblitiy of new stuff. I voted for Glaug but it was SOOOOOO close to my want for an Invid to go with my megahouse and CMS ride armor. Either one of those would be fantastic. Also since Yamato seems to be passing on the Destroid spartan, if Toynami made one in 1/60 scale that would be pretty fantastic too. I look forward to seeing what you design.

I dont have a single joke machine yet but I want one. They are hard to find and expensive. If Yamato made them I would buy.

Since it seems that the landing gears will all need to be the same length as the height that they come out of the wings and the nose fuselage are about the same, I am thinking that the F-84 is the way to go. Hopefully I can find a cheap kit. Thanks again everyone.

Where do we order these?

I have yet to build up my Yamato Fan Racer. Unfortunately I got the first release without the pilot. But I want to build it up with landing gear down. However as you probably know, this kit does not come with a landing gear option. I am thinking of kitbashing landing gear into it. The question is what landing gear should I use? Would a 1/72 jet kit work? Which jet would have the closest match? Any suggestions are helpful. Thanks. Those landing gear panels on the wings are quite small and may be difficult to cut out, but I am thinking of giving it a shot. I dont know what would fit in there though in terms of just coming out, meeting the ground and looking decent. I am NOT looking to have retractable landing gear on this puppy.

It is a beautiful kit but yes the boobs are too big and the distance between the bottom of the boobs and the chin is too great. Still a very nice sculpt. EDIT: The torso is too long I guess. It is like she has three extra ribs & vertebrae in the top part of her torso.

I have the Yamato Milia First edition (with pilot) and I love it. I also got the 3 miria figure cms/yamato set and love it. I have let my 4 year old son play with it too and it is sturdy!
