I am using Tamiya TS and AS sprays after the primer, followed by weathering wash, dullcoat and maybe some detailing with the Tamiya weathering makeup kits.

Okay so I am going to be building a diorama kit made by Tundrayeti and I want it to turn out nice. I have bought some nice Tamiya spray colors but was wondering if I should drop the $15 (including shipping) to get Tamiya pirmer spray or if I should just go to the hardware store and buy a $3 can of Krylon or Rustoleum primer spray. Is Tamiya primer that much better? What do you think?

I am so excited about the 10th anniversary convention this year in California. I am so excited that I am tempted to step up but my life is so insane with a regular job, freelance work, being a single father, and in a band, on top of hobby, it is just so much. Someone please take the help or else I may have to make a mess of it!

yeah I understand that this has been the experience or similar of a lot of people. I have been lucky so far. But even still is amazing work that Yamato has done with producing all of these incredibly nice macross figures. Really a dream come true in terms of sculpt, transformation and gimmick. My 1/48 Milia super is like probably the coolest toy I have ever had. The stuff dreams are made out of.

I have to agree that Yamato has been a divine blessing for macross fans. I feel the same way.
