When you posted the photos for the VF-0A Shin W booster, I was not planning on getting it, but after seeing your shots, I bought it the next day! This is really a beautiful Valkyrie! Unfortunately I do not have the funds to get this today but I am so totally getting an SV-51 as soon as I can. Thanks again Swoosh and Graham of course too!

Ok, yeah, I get your point. I would feel pretty bad if I bought a toy for $1400.00 this year and next year it was going for $300.00. That makes sense.

I agree, the GBP version would probably have armor attached and not removable. It would be very cool and I would guess that they will do such a release if the first ones are successful enough.

The question then needs to be asked, "Do you collect the macross toys as an investment to sell them later or do you collect them for their own value as great toys (& works of art)?" No offense to those of you who do collect as investments and money making ideas are involved. I can respect that. However, I personally do not give a rats tushie if my yamato VE-1 declines in value to $3.00 because I am keeping it for my own enjoyment. And I would be very happy if Yamato produced a 1/48 version because I would enjoy that one too. However as Graham has said over and over and over again (with great certainty and confidence), they WILL NOT. But if CMS or Megahouse or Bandai or Kaiyodo or anyone else makes one then that would be great IM(NSH)O. It is a beautiful design and I would enjoy many different variations on that. Another Qestion would be, "Did the Bandai reissue of the VF-1 line decrease the value of the original Takatoku or Bandai releases very much?" I think that many people still want the originals regardless of there being a reissue or not. I understand that until the Yamato VE-1 Came out the original Bandai was the only option other than the models and that it's release temporarily decreased the value of the original so it is interesting to see that the value of the original is once again raising.

I am weary about HLJ's status symbols. They keep changing the status of the YF-19 w Fold booster & FP from in stock to discontinued. I would suggest emailing HLJ if possible to find out when you are going to get your preorder.

I have not read this thread and so please forgive me if I am butting in with ignorance or if someone has already said this BUT..... The SDF-1 goes in the water and penetrates and more specifically the Daedelus (I do not know how to spell this one) goes in the water because it is an aircraft carrier and it penetrates when they do the Daedlues attack, kung-fu punching the Zentraedi war ships. I would be stoked if Yamato made a TV SDF-1!

That ROCKED!!!! Kind of. Than Konig monster suit looked heavy to stand in. I do not know why that one guy tried to do falsetto at the end part. He just did not hit the notes! But yeah, those guys are pretty brave. Looked like a big crowd and a small applause. I did not like the virtual reality karaoke video. I prefer Marii's voice.

My Vf-0A Shin with booster is really nice. It is such a beautiful sculpt and looks gorgeous in Battroid mode. I have transformed it probably about 4 times now. Overall it seems quite solid and tight with only two minor complaints. One is that the feet are a bit loose but not loose enough so that he does not stand properly. Second is that one of those two little flaps, that in Fighter mode goes from the head towards the nosecone, falls off every time I transform it and sometimes when just handling it. Other than that it is soooo sweeeet!

Maybe we need a poll but my vote is yes to tampo all the way with all markings.

I totally agree. I really want the VF-1D. I do not have one in any form in any mode and I have been wanting one for ages. The toynami one did not look so great to me although I have not seen it in person. The arii one was not detailed enough. I do like the yamato 1/60 a bit but I want it in Battroid mode and the 1/60s in batt mode are not my favorite (though if I can justify the funds I may get one at some point). What I really wanted was a VF-1D 1/48 but Yamato is not going to make the VF-1D in 1/48 (says Graham with certainty - over and over again). And since the small but beautiful Revoltech figures are nice and detailed and go into any pose really well, then hopefully this will be the vf-1d that will make me happy! SO MAKE IT PLEASE KAIYODO!!!! Thank you!

Hey Kicker773, (Sweet Collection), are those two aircraft carrier pieces on your second from top shelf that are supporting the VF-0As also part of the USS FLAGG or are they from something else (and if they are from something else where from?). Those are great for displaying 1 or two valks at a time! Really nice.

I really love my VF-0A shin with Ghost! It is such a beautiful sculpt and looks so F@(&!^$ badd asss in Batt mode (actually all modes - wish I had three of these). I got lucky and have good shoulders and biceps on mine. The only problems are that one of the flaps that goes from the head towards the nosecone in figher mode keeps falling off everytime I transform it, and the feet are a little less tight than I would hope. I think that this is a tie with my VF-1S Roy with Steath Fast Packs. Second would be the elintseeker (in fighter mode). I do not have a YF-19 yet, and I really want one, but thanks to your opening post on this thread this want has become more urgent. I think that once I get my nora it will be my favorite. We will see. So for now it is a tie with VF-0A Shin w Ghost AND VF-1S Roy with Steath FP.

I know that it would be too expensive but how about a chromed all Diecast vf-0a? That would be probably $1000 retail and would cost a lot to ship but that would be sooooo sweet. And it would solve the breaking shoulders, biceps and that little flap that goes between the underside of the nosecone and the head which falls off every time I touch it. So it would not be this Platinum gundam but it would look similar. I suppose they could chrome plate their current plastic one (or could they) but die cast would be so sturdy. Or how about milled out of stainless steel? That would be uber expensive too. Just picture it a shiny shiny valk! Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh Out of all the valks that could be chrome this one would be the best because of the slick lines in batt mode. The design and sculpt of the VF-0A would lend itself beautifully to shiny chrome!

First of all, thank you Graham for opening up this suggestions post. My suggestions about the Blue scheme and the Tiger scheme are serious. I do not want to abuse this but I just had to throw one in for laughs. This may be a California thing and maybe just for laughs but have you seen this paint job?

Wow, this Tiger scheme is pretty sweet! I would like to see a valk hot rod like this. The 0A would be great in this color.

If Yamato is not going to make the VF-0D then it would be cool to have the VF-0A in that blue color. Does a VF-0A show up in the OVA with that blue color? I am trying to remember, when they land on the island to take blood from the natives, or was that an 0D? If Yamato is going to make the VF-0D then nevermind, we will just get that one. I think that ruskiiVFaussie's idea of the revers color schemes is actually a cool idea! I would love to see the VF-0A in pink and gold (with a pimp hat and fur coat of course). Seriously. But, yes, I am very happy that Yamato wants to do the Dobber scheme for the SV-51. That rocks! I do hope they do the CF too though, I really like those colors. I am so ready to get my Nora! Can't wait!!!

That would be so sweet. They could make a killing off of us! I would get Hikaru, Roy, Claudia, Milia, Max, Zentraedi Warrior, Isamu, Shin, Mao, Sara, Ishtar, etc. My top 3 choices would be Milia, Zentraedi Warrior, and Hikaru.
