Who can post some photos of the Nora Type that are official yamato photos? I just saw this one on an ebay auction but it is so small. Does anyone have a bigger version of it or similar?

I am am thinking about getting a Hikaru and a milia and want to know what Hikaru would look like with Milia's FP on in Battroid mode and Fighter mode. Can someone here who has both of those put Milia's Fast Packs Super parts on to Hikaru, photograph it and post it on this thread? Thanks.

I agree that it is too expensive but I too caved and preordered. The obsession to cost ratio sometimes gets blown out beyond rational logic.

The VF-1D is one of my favorite valks because it is the first one that we see transform in the series. I have been wanting to get the Yamato vf-1d for a while but have not gotten around to it. It is the only transformable vf-1d there is available at this point and so if you like this valk then it may be worth getting. It is also more and more difficult to find although it may have decreased in value. I agree that it may not be a great investment idea. We do not know if they will make another better one or not. I hope to get one too but there are so many great valks that I want it is hard to figure out which ones to get first.

Is Yamato still going to make that Minmei figure? If so, maybe their next release will be a Misa figure. Anyway I would still love to see them make a regult.

My Roy also has the rubber joint seepage and at first it scared me but now that I realize it doesnt effect the toy I am fine with it. I am not sure what release mine is but I love it. It is a really solid figure/toy/collectible art piece. I recommend getting the new Roy to anyone who is considering it.

Compare the lower torso regions of both. The new one seems to have some type of detail that the first one did not but maybe it is just a paint splotch job or maybe it is a special paint job for a pre-production model to get us hyped that may or may not make it to the production? I dont know. Mr March, you are right it does look alot like the macross plus version. I like that. I really like this one but why does it have to be so expensive? When I saw the first release's price I thought that it would be big but then when I saw people's photos of it in their collections I was shocked! The size to price ratio is messed up but I suppose that if it is a really quality figure... no, that is just too expensive for that size a figure... well the Platinum gundam is smaller and costs thousands more... but this is not made out of gold is it? This is my internal dialog trying to figure out why I am probably going to get this.

I like this color better. I did not get the first release even though I liked it but I may get this one. It is too expensive though. I hope they drop the price a bit.

I am with you all here and cant wait for nora. When I first saw her appear in Macross Zero, after thinking that it was the coolest mech ever, I thought, I want one of those made by yamato, wonder if they will ever do it? I already know that I am going to put (my first one) in flying Gerwalk mode. And of course she will have to have breasts right? The character was not lacking.

I just saw the shadow chronicles for the first time a few nights ago and WOW was I supremely disappointed!? What a sad sad sad phenomena. Some of the animation was decent but the story was pretty lame and the acting was horrendous. I was so sad to see that Mark Hamil "acted" in it. Poor guy. The script was just trash. I did have fun mocking it and giving my peanut gallery mystery science theater commentary over it. Something I will never watch again. IMO.

Grand Admiral, That is a great photo and great pose. It could go well in the strike a pose thread and the captions thread for sure. Optimus looks so sad

I have yet to panel line my valks but in looking at what people are doing I like the mechanical pencil style. If I do it I will probably try that. However if I was going to panel line a stealth I would probably use a black gundam marker or copics.

I must say I was a little disappointed when I did not see..... fists? I would like to get a pair of the GPB fists. Wheres thems?

EDIT: I looked back a page and saw that you used a mech pencil. Looks great! I think I have to get this 1/48 Milia. I have the 1/60 version but this one is sooooo much nicer.
