Thank you for the definition. That is very helpful to know. The BP8 on my 1/60 Elintseeker comes off almost everytime I look at it. I have never even transformed this one but had to handle it to get it in just the right position for my flexidisplay stand and the thing came off about 6 times in one night while trying to get the right position.

They DEFINITELY know that I am a freak. They also know that I am a Macross Freak. They can not know about the toys because of $$$. If they found out how much money I have spent on Macross toys then they would probably try to take my son away from me and put me in prison for bad $$$ management! Probably one of my biggest fears is my ex finding out about the toys! It kind of makes the hobby more fun in a way! It is a sneaky and naughty hobby

I am an adult now (really?) but my mom asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I was just thinking that I should ask her for that 1/48 VF-1J Hikaru that I have been wanting for so long. It would be the first toy she bought me for probably 16 years but there is no way. She would be like, "$160 for a TOY!?!?! No way! Aren't you too old for that stuff now?" My toy collection is to be hidden from my mother and my ex at all times. Especially my ex!

When I was a kid and watched Robotech I did not like Minmay and I wondered why Rick did not go for Lisa right away. Now that I have seen Macross I did not particularly like Minmay (sure better than Robotech though) and still wondered why Hikaru was so obsessed and why he did not go for Misa sooner. Sure, she is a rock star and I have been obsessed with Bjork for years but I think that this is part of the plot, part of the story to get the audience to be like, "Dude! Forget Minmay and go for Misa!" and then draw that feeling on for us from episode to episode. I think that the teasing of our emotions is part of what makes it so enjoyable. Instead of instant gratification which is over too soon. My $0.02

So far yes. But we are dreaming of a brighter future. Not that the 1S, 1J and 1A are not great, because they are but wouldn't it be nice to have a revoltech Vf-4, Regult, Quedluun Rau, Yf-19, Vf-1D, Minmay Guard, Bretai, Gloval, and anything else that you could dream up?

I find it strange that we have not seen any images of the Yamato Minmay figure. The other 25ths, the VF-1S and the YF-19 we have seen for some time now and has been on pre-order but this one we have not seen anything. I guess we can assume that it will not be released at the same time as the other two. Any information?

That "Black Clouds" scheme is so incredibly sexy! I need it. Do you hear me Yamato? I NEED it!!!! (yes I am a screaming child in an imaginary toystore - no I do not have shame).

I particularly love the color choices that they made. The blue is gorgeous and I like it better than the dark blue they used on the 1/72 version. Also the kind of tangerine yellow on this new one is so much better than the nauseating bright yellow on the 1/72. I know many of you will disagree with me because it is not exactly like in the OVA but I actually prefer these colors than the "real" colors.

but the Max 1A that Yamato produced is a DYRL version, while they have yet to make the SDFM max 1A with the white chestplate.

Yes, it is obligatory that you watch "Macross: Do You Remember Love" (DYRL), the 1984 movie. The animation is fantastic and the story is great of course. This is a must. Then you will understand the VF-1s Hikaru and the VF-1A Hikaru as well. I would not be suprised if you ended up liking DYRL even more than the TV SuperDimensionalFortressMacross. It may be a little hard to find on DVD. DiscountAnimeDVD is backordered on it but you may find it somewhere else. BEWARE OF gamesfantasy.com . I ordered DYRL from them over a month ago and they never sent the DVD, they refuse to answer my emails and their phone is out of service. Those MotherJumpers!!! If anyone knows these bozos please tell them that if Miriya ever finds them she is going to kick some serious Meltrandi ass on them.
