Well, ever since I figured out how to make a poll, now it is very fun. But seriously, one of the first PMs I ever made was to Graham asking if Yamato would make regults and his answer was like it always has been. But so many of here want one so that is why I thought a poll may give Yamato the incentive by letting them know how many of us would actually buy one. Constructive whining!

Ok so we all want Yamato Regults, right? 1/60 scale, withe the zentraedi warrior figure that pilots it and the attachments to make the two missile versions and a scout version. Lets tell them that we are serious and give them some numbers to go by. Please vote and give your specific ideas here too.

Thanks for all of your input and compliments everyone. I will post updates here as they come in. Will try to do some more mock ups today including Kicker773s Virgin Road box. In another thread Graham had said that the Yamato Box designer would cry if they fired him so I had better not create a situation. I was thinking that if I pull off a custom box for Kicker773 and find a good printer and the box looks good as a final product I may be able to do more custom boxes for people. I will have to see how much time it actually takes with this test run and how much money the printing will cost but I think that there is potential. Also, thinking about the Yamato boxes, the thin cardboard is OK but in thinking about what ruskiiFVaussie was saying about wood... A wood box would be much more stable and slick. Even if it is the same size/proportions as the current boxes but made out of wood, then apply the graphics on top of that, panel by panel may look good. Even varnish over the graphics on wood with some wood showing all around each panel may look really fancy. A very expensive process I am sure but top notch. Instead of a creased cardboard flap, it could be a real hinge and instead of a velcro tab could be a lock! Anyway, that is probably much more than Kicker773 was envisioning. If you do not see some more posts from me today it may mean that I have to do my real job in which case I will post as soon as I get a chance.

Sweet Robot Labia! I think that we need to start a Robot Porn support group. Oh, wait a minute, that is what Macros World Forums is! It is funny because my co-worker (the one who knows about my "problem") calls my insane amount of time looking at MW, and Macross Yamato figures online, robot porn too. It really is porn to some extent. For some of us at least. It is an obsession of getting fulfilled by looking at explicit photographs of robots, other peoples robots, hot new robots and can be very addictive. Now don't get me wrong, I don't get.... how to put this without getting banned... I don't "get off on it" ... not like that at least. I had better shut my mouth now....

Thanks ruskiiVFaussie. I think it will be a fun project. Kicker773 mentioned art inside the flap too so with that, the cover, the sides, the back, there should be lots of cool looking stuff. WIP for sure.

I will work on more later. Maybe I should wait for your photos too. And some line art.

Real funny wise guy! You know that I was wearing cardigans over button down shirts for the last two days! Ok I was not wearing a pocket protector but my glasses are held together by glue.
