I think there is another thread like this started but.... yeah, Since Bandai Visual is Producing the show, they probably have the license for the toys at least at first. There is speculation that Yamato may get a chance at the Macross Frontier mechas in a couple or few years from now. I personally would LOVE to see yamato make the VF-171 and the VF-25 with reactive armor. I would love to own those. I hope that it happens.

My top three: 1/60 Regult 1/60 VF-4 Lightning III 1/60 VF-0D Then: Hikaru's Fan Racer 1/60 Zentraedi Warrior Character figures: Gloval, Breetai, Laplamiz, etc. etc..... EDIT: add to the top would be VF-25 with reactive armor and VF-171 elintseeker.

I have some beagle stickers I could put on my old jetfire and some fake poo from the joke shop that I could attach as missiles. I think you have something going here!

Makes me wish I was a modeller. Makes me wish that I had gotten one of these when they were available (not so far back). Lately I have really been considering trying out the modelling thing. The problem is that I have little free time and no space to use toxic chemicals.

I am really a new member as well considering that I have only been on the forums for just about a year (on the 25th of Jan will be my 1st anniversary). But I was just noticing recently what seemed to be a huge number of newcomers. Then I checked the members search and found that something like 150 new members have joined since the new year and the majority of them have not posted anything. I will apologize ahead of time for being absurd and rude and of course paranoid, but WTF?!?!?! I welcome all macross fans of course as I was welcomed almost a year ago and I think that this is a wonderful place for us. I just found it to be a little strange and the freaky side of me said, "What is going on?". I suppose it took me a while to muster up the courage to make my first post and I was a lurker for a couple of years before joining. But here are some examples of my paranoid thinking: "These supposed newcomers are spys from the different toy companies trying to mess with us!" "There must be some spamming potential here?" "With several accounts someone could easily win an argument" and of course much worse things too. I am sure that I am wrong and if I am please forgive me and welcome to the wonderful world of Macross. I do not have statistics but is this an unusual amount of new members joining? Maybe it is the Macross Frontier preview that did it. Or maybe it is just that over a hundred people made a new years resolution to finally stop lurking and join. So I welcome you to defeat my insanity (good luck!)... Moderators, please let me know if I am out of line... New members, who are being bashful, please feel free to say whatever you want about macross here (following the rules of course), and do not be afraid to be a public idiot. But if I whine enough or do something really stupid then any moderator would jump at the chance to give me an absurdest title to match the scenario. Regardless of the price, if you break something by mishandling it it is a big difference than it being broken to begin with. Perhaps what is being said is that the toynamis tend to be broken to begin with. Does that sound right?

I seriously doubt there is any way anyone would remake SDF macross as in re doing all 36 episodes. But just as DYRL? was sort of a remake of SDFm, I think that a remake of DYRL? would be possible today. Sure, the original would still be the original and fantastic but I think that it is possible that Kawamori Mikimoto Nue et al could make a really kick ass remake of DYRL.

So DYRL? and Macross7 are equally brilliant? EDIT: I do not mean to be rude but you must like one more than another, right? Even just a little bit?

I have a VF-0A shin with booster that is problem free and supposedly the VF-0S with booster is too. I think they have sorted out that whole issue with biceps and shoulders. And now with their new QC person on board I think it looks bright. Although there are many new parts to be molded for the D, there are at least a couple parts that they could use from the S and A molds. I am going to be optimistic about this one because I really want it!
