Yes, You totally saved the day!

The original cockpit may have had a better shape but this one I think has a better detailed cockpit inside (at least it seems) and a clearer dome. It is a little bit bulky in shape but I personally prefer it so far for those reasons. Maybe once I have one and compare it I may change my mind!

Just noticing that the lower portions of the legs look a little bit thin in battroid but not enough to make me not crave this beauty. The nose is a bit small in fighter, yes but it looks great in battroid. The arms just absolutely rock! I love them! The side covers would be nice. Maybe for the one after the VF-1s Roy. I want to see the pilot! For the VF-1S I think it would be incredibly cool to have a TV Roy, TV, Hikaru, a DYRL Roy and a DYRL Hikaru! How absolutely sweet would that be?!! To add to my insane fantasy, the VF-1D would come with Hikaru in his orange civilian flightsuit and two Minmei's, one for the back seat and one to be held in the hand, of course also come with an extra cockpit/nosecone/fuselage to recreate that scene when Roy saves them. Would we get that? Could we get that? Doubt it but it would be really nice!

So 54 yes and 7 no? I am sure there are more of you with an opinion on this. Please vote. Numbers like 54 are not going to make yamato want to make a whole new product! If you want a Yamato 1/60 Regult, then please vote here. Not that they know that this poll exists. They may or may not, I dont know. But I have a pretty strong feeling that more than 54 of you want a yamato 1/60 regult. Please vote!

OK so I just saw the new larger pics of the 1/60v2 VF-1s that Charger69 posted and am thinking that I will have to sell my milia 1/60 at least, as soon as possible before the general public gets the 411 on the v2, put that money aside and save it for a year down the line when they release the v2Milia. I am tempted to do this as well with my vf-1 but not sure. I may have to keep that for fighter mode. Ahhhh! I am conflicted and do not know what to do!

A Yamato SDF-1 would be fantastic. Maybe same size as the Takatoku and Matchbox ones from the 1980s (the larger versions) but of course with a more sophisticated sculpt!

Charger69, Domo Arigato Gozai mas!!! I love the battroid. I will have to compare in person but from the looks of it I am thinking that I like this battroid more than the 1/48. The 1/48 definitely looks better in fighter mode though. However I preffer the look of this in Gerwalk mode to the 1/48 in Gerwalk. Again, just from the photos here. To know for sure will have to compare in person. I am really excited about this now. Now I am thinking it may be time to sell my 1/60 Milia. I just want confirmation that they will do milia in this new line though. But I am definitely keeping my 1/48 milia. Also if there is confirmation on the VF-1D I may have to sell my 1D as well.

That would be really cool! Do you have the little megahouse orguss? I am thinking of getting one but am not sure how the quality is.

I have the Animeigo SDF Macross DVD collection and it is awesome! I would recommend it to anyone with the slightest interest. It is an insane value. I just watched all 36 episodes and absolutely love it. I was so happy after finishing that I bought a set for my buddy who is also a macross fan, for his birthday. It is so affordable and so excellent. I even thought about buying a second set for myself in case one of my discs gets scratched.

As for now, I am keeping my old 1/60 vf-1 collection. I like them. I have a thing for die cast and even though they are not perfect transformation, do not hold poses so well and the legs fall off in fighter mode, I just can not bear to let them go. I have thought about the fact that the new 1/60 line will most likely be far superior to the old one and that I will kick myself later for not selling these now when i can get a decent price for them before most of the general public knows about the new 1/60 line. I have considered it. Another issue is that I do not know for sure that the new line will include the VF-1D, the VT-1 and the VE-1 and so I do not want to sell those until I am sure that the new line will include those and that they do look better. I have considered selling my Milia 1/60 as she tends to scare up some pretty pennies on ebay but if the new line does not include a 1/60 milila VF-1J then I would regret selling her off! For now I am holding on to them.

That would be great. not "cheap quality" but "good quality and inexpensive", right?

Maybe a better question than who will make the VF-25 and VF-171 is WHEN will anyone make them? Even if Bandai does have some sort of exclusive license (which we do not know if they do or not), when do you think they will make them? I mean, the show has not even started yet (aside from the first episode sneak preview). Would they wait for a few months or a whole season to see if the show is successful before they make one? Would they make one that comes out when the show comes out so that people can start consuming immediately? If the show is not as successful as they hoped for would they abandon their license or give it up to Yamato and if so how long is that going to be? I am guessing that they will make these right away or not at all. What do you all think?

Just because SDF macross is the original and the best does that mean that the others, some of which are great too (although not as great as SDFM), should be eliminated?

I think that there are some hypnotists that could probably "help" you by making you believe that SDFm is the only macross and whenever you hear or see anything regarding MII,M+,M7,M0 then it just would not register, as if they did not exist! Or maybe you could convince yourself that all the other macross aside from SDFm is not macross at all but something else. I know that it is a pretty absurd idea but for those who do not want the "other" macross to have existed, then you can just ignore it and then people who like the other macross can enjoy it (to themselves of course). I have to take a nap.....

It is alright. I am still sick as a dog and cant do much work right now. I went to the doc yesterday and have started antibiotics. Hopefully more stuff this weekend.
