Thanks! I know it is expensive but actually for me to get a CMS minmei and a banpresto, it is the same price! The thing that really got me was the amount of time it took to do the work! However it is my first customizing so maybe I was just naive about it. Also, I think the bug has got me but I do not have time right now to do much unfortunately. I did try putting some leftover Rei parts on the VF-1S and it was DISTURBING! And I am not easily disturbed. I may have to finish it and post it just for shock value! I am thinking that next I will do an asuka and paint the VF-1 parts red to match her plugsuit. What can I use to paint strip the paint off of the Revoltech and Fraulein figures that will not eat the vinyl? What kind of paint is it that they use? Also, I was thinking to paintstrip a fraulein rei so that she is flesh colored, sand off the textures of her plugsuit so that she looks nude and then, of course put a bakini on her and then do a more fleshy valkgirl using the VF-1J. Hmmmm. Maybe. . .

I would LOVE to see a custom GBP that is painted white with red stripe matching Hikaru's VF-1J! I know that does not give any insight to your quandary though.

I totally agree that they should release the TV Super FP set by itself and they should reissue the Stealth Fast Packs too!

Hey Sqidd, Congratulations! This looks gorgeous! Already it looks fantastic and when it is finished I am sure it will be even more kick ass! Jung, great work!

They are the flexidisplay stands and you can get them at Lost and Found Toys.

Insanely gorgeous WickedAce! This has to be one of my favorite customs I have ever seen! And yes, I did have to change my pants after seeing this in battroid!
-
Thank you! That is very helpful! It is funny that I did not even think to look at my rei box!

Check out my Revoltech Kitbash HERE

OK, here is my almost finished Revoltech kitbash! All the joints are still moveable so it is totally poseable. I did have to do some major surgery so this version is a destructive edit but I am happy with the result. Sure, not enough skin showing but Rei is so sexy and now much more kick ass! I will be drilling small holes in the sides of her head to put the head cannons but did not have time or tools tonight. Please enjoy the photos.

Do you need a custom box for that too?

That is too important a website to go down. If it is a matter of $$$, I am sure that some of us can pool together to make it happen again. Hopefully all the files are still existing somewhere for easy resurrection.

Great idea. I bet you that one of those 1/72 battle ruin dioramas would work great! LINK LINK Maybe Kitbash a couple of these and add some rubble? -
Ghostkiller, This is looking really great! I love that we are getting two members produce these customs simultaneously! They both look fantastic! Keep up the great work. It looks like you are close to finished.

I personally am hoping for the VF-1D (orange and tan version) with Hikaru in orange civilian flightsuit and minmei backseat! -
Outstanding! Gorgeous! Fantastic! Great job! and of course I am looking forward to battroid mode!
-
By the way, this is my first kitbash since I was 12 and used to unscrew GI Joe toys and combine parts. I am having loads of fun already!

OK, I just checked and it is totally going to work! I am in the process of kit bashing the revoltech Rei with the revoltech VF-1S! I will post the results. Maybe the progress too....
-
Thanks. I was thinking probably about 1/12.
-
OK, I have not checked out the proportions in reality but here is my idea as a "Digital Kitbash". I will check my figures when I get a chance to see if this is feasable. If so I may have to try it!

What scale (approximately) are the Fraulein figures? I am thinking about getting a diecast motorcyle to put one on and want to make sure it will fit.
-
That is a great way to do it! Now I have to think about which parts I will want doubles of! BTW, would a 1/48 in fighter mode fit on a single base with wings spread mostly out?

Thanks for the link. Just watched the video. Now I am very excited about the MH. Glad I ordered from Lost and found toys.
