I just soaked my Mighty Muggs Han Solo in Pine Sol for 24 Hours and it has not effected the paint whatsoever. Do I need to soak it longer or use a different product. I may try the OOPS or the Brasso next week. Any thoughts?

Be careful with those HK sellers. There seem to be quite a lot of them that are really shady. Make sure to read the feedbacks and not just look at the scores. Some people have gotten really burned and others just had to wait a long long long long time. I am sure that there are great HK sellers too but the majority of the ones that I have seen that sell Macross stuff have really bad feedback messages and I personally had bad experience with Jchung. And of course I have nothing against people from Hong Kong. I have friends there. It just seems that there is a group of macross sellers there that are real clowns.

Thanks for the encouragement. I am soaking Han Solo in Pine Sol. Couldn't help but think of the scene at the end of Empire. Because he floats I will soak him on one side for 24 hours and then another side for 24 hours and hopefully that will get the paint off. In the meantime I am awaiting my Tamiya order.

So if you have not seen the Mighty Muggs they are a hasbro toy banking on the popularity of "designer toys" figures such as Dunnys and so forth. They have 2 lines of Star Wars and also marvel. But I figured that these would be great for customizing. I will probably do the Milia first and then either the Hikaru or the Zentraedi Warrior if the first one turns out. Here are some images, first a "real" mighty muggs figure and then my concept sketches.

I may have to get like 8 or 10 of these and just make a big macross factory for displaying my 1/48s or my 1/60s.

I found that on top of the new release of the 007 and 008 which look great (Supposed May release) there is a 009 and 010 (June Release) which look super duper cool! Hey Maverick, That is very cool. It is funny because I was just looking at those mechanical chain bases thinking, Hmmm, I wonder if I could fit a bunch of them together to fit my 1/48 Roy into? I really appreciate the shots because now I know it looks great! How many of these mechanical Chain Bases did it take?

I have seen people display their valks upside down but only in Fighter mode. It would be interesting to pose one in battroid mode upside down. Maybe for a serious action scene!

Will that work on Vinyl and PVC too?

WOW! Those both look absolutely fantastic! I think the VF-4 Looks good with the hasegawa stand but it would look better if the stand was painted.

OK, sorry if this has already been answered... But.... What can I use to paint strip a revoltech or Fraulein figure? I think they are Vinyl and I do not want to melt them. Also.... What can I use to paint strip a Mighty Muggs? which I think is PCV or Vinyl.
