  1. Thanks everyone for your input. I am really liking this kit. I just wish that the exact same kit existed in 1/48. I know that there is a 1/72 resin kit being made here on the forums and I am probably getting at least one of those but I just really want to diorama my 1/48 yamatos in something like this. I have considered doing a styrene build up from scratch but that would take an eon to do!
  2. Those are some of the most awesome 1/55 customs I have ever seen. I love the pilots! So jealous!!! I want a milia just like that!
  3. I am totally stoked on the alien. Not so much predator. I hope the sculpt turns out nice. It is an easy design to screw up. I am a big fan of ALIEN and ALIENS, not so much the others.
  4. Now Misterryno needs a custom present sack that milia can carry over her shoulders and a cute little santa's helper hat! Oh, and some 1/55 custom reindeer too! But seriously, there is something nice about that green against the red. I personally would probably paint the green parts on Max to gray though but it does have a unique quality. hmmmmmmm........
  5. Sweeeet!
  6. It is funny that you say that. I was thinking that the milia looked very Christmas-like as well.
  7. I have to run right now but PM me to remind me and I will check later. Peace....
  8. Thank you ! Those are so sweet! Seems like it would take a year to complete such a kit though!
  9. I wonder if 1/48 decals would be a close enough fit?
  10. F it. Go pink all around!
  11. If you did decide to change the color of the green parts to lets say, gray, then you could paint them. And if you want to avoid, sanding, primer, paint, clearcoat process, then you could always use Krylons Fusion line which is supposed to be quite easy to use spray can that does not require prep. I dont know. I have not used it yet but am curious to try.
  12. I did have that problem with my first Rei but only after I started to Frankenstein her. Before I took her apart she was pretty solid. Once I did disasemble her and put her back again she was never the same but still functional. The main problem for me was the pins that hold her arms to her shoulders. They have a very short side that goes into the back and I think that they are just too short. I have not opened my second Rei yet. Maybe later today. I hope that the whole line does not suffer from this as I do want to Frankenstein more of these.
  13. I think so. There may be other versions too though. It seems that there are at least two Macross versions and at least 5 Robotech versions.
  14. Those look awesome Ry! A couple of decals or even stickers would be a nice finishing touch. Maybe just the kites on the sides of the booby ducks and the U.N. SPACY s on the leg armors. Interesting with the green parts. At first I was like WTF? But then I was like whoa dude, cool! Congratulations.

  16. Hey macrossman, Nice sound system!
  17. I am stoked that I will be able to make a nice small and relatively inexpensive Milia colored red GBP set!
  18. So what are the final dimensions on this? Particularly interested to know the hight.

I cant wait to preorder my regults!!! I am thinking to start with three and go from there.
  20. Thank you! That looks like a great deal too! I may have to try this seller out.
  21. I know you will!
  22. Good point. If the cost of manufacturing the weathered scheme is much higher for them then selling it at retail only by themselves may be the only way to make it viable.
  23. is that sarcasm? I think maybe but i am so gullible I really don't know anymore.
  24. That would be great! If someone here could make them reasonably priced then I would consider getting one.
