True... If the value of an object is determined by what someone is willing to pay and then someone who is obsessive (and rich) absolutely needs something at any cost, they drive up the "value" of that object. "Oh, well I saw these going for $450 on ebay, so that is what they are worth!".

I really will need to see the painted version before I decide. This is not my favorite of destriods and strangely enough I have a good reason why I am on the fence with this design in general. Often times the tomahawk looks (to me) like a smiley face to me because the head canons look like eyes and the visor looks like a smile and that has always bothered me. If painted well and the head canons are the same color as the rest of the head and the visor is bright red or another obvious visor color then the smiley face dissapears for me. Am I crazy? Yes. The other destroids I do not have this issue with. But if this one does not look too smiley face to me and the final paint job looks good I will probably get it.

I really want a 1/60 VF-0D? Will Yamato ever make one? I am also curious if they will make an SDF-1. If they do then I may not get the wave model but if they do not then I will have to. BUT seriously, when are they going to do the 1/60 VF-0D?

The lighting and quality really let us see the color scheme well and right next to the old version is a great reference. Thanks for that! I have my finger on the trigger now and an itch on my thumb. Also, I have to say, I really like both color schemes. You are lucky to have both.

I respect that you feel that way and I am sure that others do too but... I personally could ask for a better company to make the Frontier toys and that is Yamato. I am not saying that I am not still very excited about these toys because I am. I am not saying that I will not get the Bandai toys because I will. I am not saying that I will not be happy with them either because I probably will be. I am saying though that I would rather see Yamato making these as I am really happy with what they have done with the transforming Macross figures they have made (for the most part) and would love to have a Yamato transforming Macross Frontier figure. Just a matter of opinion and not meant to say I am right or you are wrong.

HLJ often shows "discontinued" to items when they actually are not. I do not know why they do that. I have seen items get discontinued status and then a week later be in stock. However they have displayed "discontinued" status to the YF-19 with fold booster set for several months now with no change.

I totally know what you are talking about. I have two Busou Shinki figures and two option sets and I always get mad trying to put them together or rearrange them. I too have zentraedi hands at 6 feet 2 inches in hight with kind of stocky fingers. I love the two that I have though and once set up they are awesome as long as the wind does not blow too hard. I have been on the fence with this third one for a long time. I am actually halfway though ordring it right now and was thinking, "spend on macross instead". But I will still think about it for a few minutes.

Has anyone seen the Busou Shinki Ach "ride armor"? I think it is pretty sweet. . .
