    VF-4 model kit

Andy, is that the tanmen kit? in any case, do you have any more available and how much would it cost?
  2. Looks great so far. I am a noob and starting to do some projects. What tool do I use to scribe the panel lines deeper in a resin kit before priming?
  3. I guess that is good to know. Not that I am happy about it because obviously I am not but it is good to know so that I do not keep hoping for it. You dream killer! (Of course I blame you instead of Graham or Yamato for that matter. Always the messenger. Maybe that is why everyone blames >EXO<)

    VF Girls

    WOW!!! Great work! Really beautiful!
  5. That is gorgeous! Really nice looking kit. I am tempted. I wonder how bit it is. Probably quite big because my 1/240 scale monster is already somewhere around 6 inches long (hey now, stop that) so I can imagine that the 1/144 is at least 10 inches (OK thats enough). Do they list the final size when completed?
  6. I would really like a new big SDF-1 too and would be very happy if Yamato made one. Even Bandai if they did it right. Same size as the larger Takatoku/matchbox from the 1980s but with more realistic sculpt and better articulation, TV colors of course. I am sure they would charge an arm and a leg, probably no less than $300 which is definitely "ouch!" but still I am sure that we would all gobble it up.
  7. doodler7, great photoshopping! Thanks.
  8. If you were really enthusiastic I suppose that you could kit bash together a Legioss model kit and a VF-1 model kit but you would have to be really savvy to do that well. It would be a good challenge for a modeler.
  9. Nice work again Ghostkiller!
  10. I do not know what it is but it looks like a cross between a Mospeada Legioss Alpha and a tomcat or starscream?
  11. I would rather have the VF-1D, VE-1 and VT-1 in 1/48 than 1/60. I hope they make them. I of course do have the 1/60 v.1 s of all these and probably will get the V.2 of all them as well. If they make them in 1/48 I will get those too. But in the end I just want the best one. If the V.2s are better than the v.1 then I will probably sell my v.1s and if the 1/48 are made then I would sell v.1 and v.2.
  12. WOW!!!! That looks incredible! What kit is that? Who made it? Also, what diorama is that? Did you make it from scratch or is it a kit and if so where could I get one?
  13. Cool. Seen this?
  14. I would like a 1/60 Spartan. A defender too.
  15. Oh, right, so that is quite large!
  16. ohhhh, good thinking!

    2 seater 1/48s

  18. even if it is aimed in our general direction, the chances of Earth being in the actual pathway would be insanely slim, right? I do not know what the width of a gamma ray like this is but I am guessing that this is an incredibly slim chance if a chance at all.

    2 seater 1/48s

I would be insanely excited and overwhelmed with joy if Yamato were to release 1/48 scale VE-1, VT-1, and VF-1D. It would be "unthinkable!"
  20. With this information I am going to guess that this will become more collectible and rare and expensive than the Low Vis 1 by far. So, where is the ordering page on the yamato site? I may try to have my friend in Tokyo try to get one.
  21. Great. Thanks. I have some Tamyia Spray primer. I am guessing that will work fine. What is an auto primer?
  22. Good question because the animation and look is totally spot on. even the end sequence and film quality.
  23. Thank you so much Mike. That is all really helpful for me (a total noob). I really appreciate the pointers! I got Medium Sea Gray (RAF) for the floor, Light gun metal for the walls, gun metal for the door, and Camel Yellow for the Gantries. I also got a Weathering Master for the details (Orange Rust, Gun Metal, Silver). I think these colors should work out for me. I will be really happy though if mine turns out 1/2 as cool as yours! I will post my finished kit here (whenever that will be?). Do you recommend that I wash the parts with Comet or Soap and Water before applying the primer layer?
  24. That was so awesome! I love the Quedluun Rau Penguins. So Bizzare, the whole thing. Well worth the 6 minutes of my life, no doubt!
