I may be wrong about this but it seems to me that most macross fans are diehards. Maybe it is just being here on the forum too much though. However I do have a friend who is a big macross fan but not "like us", ya know on macrossworld and with collections and so forth, but anyway when he saw my collection the one thing that he really wanted was my yamato Elintseeker. He is considering getting one which would be his first macross toy since the early 90s.

Thank you! So far I have used my kitchen sink for soap cleaning and a dedicated tupperware for soaking (ie in pine sol for paint removal etc.). Thanks for the tip. Also, is there really such a thing as double malt scotch? I have to say that I have never seen that.

Sure, that is a good point. However if it was where it "should" be, just in front of and under the gantry, then you would not see that detail much when the valk is standing there, whereas the place where it is now the detail is visible (albeit not functionally making perfect sense). Personally this is a detail that I am not worried about. However I will be curious to see how your modification turns out with splitting the floor. Please do post pics when you do it.

Yes it is. Its the Zentraedi Warrior, NOT the micronized zentraedi warrior. They have become quite difficult to find these days. The micronized ones are quite easy to come by but the bigger one like this one are hard to get. I really wanted to make a zentraedi army with them. I have been saying for ages now that some company should make figures of all the macross characters. I really liked the CMS figures and wish they would continue with Laplamiz, SDFM milia zentraedi flightuit version, SDFM Misa flightsuit version, Gloval, Kamjin, Zentraedi Warrior, etc. etc.. . Yamato could do it too. Someone ought to do it. Oh yeah and SDFM flightsuit everyone to make up for those crappy matchbox ones from the 80s. The only matchbox ones that I like are the taller Zentraedi ones except for Miriya which they severly screwed up on with the small ugly head and ginormous hands and ugly figure.

Deculture! The zentraedi hate the Miclones but they love protoculture!

That would be sweet! Of course the original 1/60 line did have the VF-1D, VE-1 and VT-1 two seaters which are awesome (in fighter mode) now the V.2 versions will look great in battroid mode. I hope they also make both minmei guards too and a Virgin Road max.

I apologize if this is against the rules (moderators please let me know) but I have tried to torrent the non-deculture version of episode 01 about 4 times now from two different torrent sites and each time once it is downloaded and I try to open it I get a message: "ERROR - 2102: a bad public movie atom was found in the movie [AIA I-Z] Macross Frontier 01" I have successfully downloaded the deculture, episode 02 and episode 03 on the same torrent sites for the AIA I-Z subs but this one episode I just keep getting this. Does anyone have any advice for me? What I can do? I am really curious to see the non-Decultre version of episode 01 and would love to be able to have the AIA I-Z version in consistency with my other subs. Thanks.

I see Ranka as miss macross for sure. There is something very minmei about her. But I seem to like Ranka more than I liked minmei.

Just watched this episode and loved it! The story, the characters, the mecha, the animation, everything. This macross series has already exceeded my expectations by far. Also I just love Luca's Green VF-25.
