Yup affirmative. sounds like you want a VF-1S with super parts (not armor parts). Now it will come down to personal preference between the 1/48 scale and the v.2 1/60 scale one which is to be released (this month?). You can look at the comparison shots and make a decision. I was for a while sold on the new V.2 1/60 scale but have gone back to preffering the 1/48 scale instead. Of course non of us own the v.2 1/60 scale vf-1s yet. EDIT: A new 1/48 scale VF-1S with Super Parts will run you about $195 (+ shipping) A pre-owned or used 1/48 scale VF-1S with Super Parts will run you somewhere around $160 (+ shipping) A new V.2 1/60 scale VF-1S with Super Parts will run you about $120 (+ shipping)

I will give you $120 shipped EDIT: Sorry. No offense. It was somewhere between a joke and wishful thinking.

You could easily find a buyer I am sure.

Good call. I just gave my 3 year old his first Valk yesterday. It is a 2001 reissue Bandai 1/55 VF-1J hikaru that I got from Thelonewolf here. He is so in love. He took it to bed with him last night! I am now considering getting one of these ones with the FP.

Once you have one in your hands you will change your mind. (I feel like I have been possesed to push these beauties for some reason! I am not a spy. Really, I just love them). . . So just to double post what I posted in the Revoltech thread, "The feet swivel a lot to get awesome stances. They are actually much more poseable than I had thought looking at pics online. It is also capable of doing some subtle poses. I like how even doing an A stance generic pose you can angle the hips in or out and the hip wings in or out to quite a varying degree to get better looking poses and the joints generally each have 2 X and 2 Y points of articulation if you use it. Maybe people just are not posting great poses yet. Of course I have not posted any poses yet. I will have to wait until I am off of toddler duty so maybe this weekend I can take some shots that will sell these to you. But really Swoosh or ruskiiVFaussie can do some of their kick ass poses and photos with these. Anyway, I am really happy with the GNU and the real thing looks so much better than the pics online, many of which including the ones on yamato's and HLJ's site are not production models IIRC."

I dont know what yalls talking bout! My GNU YF-21 can do some sweet dynamic poses. The feet swivel a lot to get awesome stances. I agree on that. The 1/48 VF-1 with super parts is uberallis. Or like lonewolf said the vf-0s with ghost is really nice too.

So the connection is robots. Is that too much of a stretch? Anyway check them out. They really play instruments! The video is worth it. http://blog.wired.com/music/2008/06/video-robots-pl.html

For me the biggest problem is the price point. The price has kept me from getting the YF-19 and VF-11 even though I have decided that I do indeed want them. If they were more affordable then I would have all three by now. I am very happy with the YF-21 and I can imagine so many great figures coming out of this line. But if Yamato's continuation of this line for macross depends on sales then unfortunately we may not see more of these because the price is too high meaning sales may not be high enough. I would love to see them do the VF-1D, the VF-0S, The VF-5000, The VF-4, The VF-9, and many more in this GNU series and would love to buy them but at this price they may not make it that far. I hope that they are sucessful and that they do produce more in this line. My new GNU YF-21 is one of my favorite toys right now. It is just so nice!

the more I see the comparison pics the more I prefer the GNU versions of the YF-19 and YF-21.

I am considering doing a valkGirl kitbash on the YF-21. It is very tempting.

I thought I was sold on the 1/60 v.2 but after this comparison shot I am almost certainly back to 1/48. I will still get at least one of the new 1/60 though. Now it is the skinny legs that are bothering me on the v.2. Oh well. Still looks great though.

I LOVE the crew!

1/60 perfect transforming vf-1 from yamato?
miriya replied to Shaggydog's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
1/24 scale for sure. Good idea >EXO< . Now I am liking the 1/48 better again. For a while I was really digging the new 1/60 v.2 for the battroid sculpt but those skinny legs are killing me. I like the beefier legs of the 1/48. Is it just me or does the v.2 1/60 look like he is wearing high heels? -
Just playing with my YF-21 at work and have to say that a Quedluun Rau in this line would be AWESOME!!!!!! They could do all three color variants! Hey Yamato, Please do! Also of course VF-4, VF-9, VF-5000, etc....

My YF-21 Arrived! It is beautiful. Not too big, not to small. Great Sculpt (much nicer than the Revoltech IMO especially in proportions), and great finish. It is really a high quality figure. Similar in feel to the FIX line but much better quality. I do think that it is a bit overpriced though which is a bummer because I really want the YF-19 and 11 now that I have this one. Overall, very happy with the GNU. Great work Yamato!

LIVE ACTION ROBOTECH (WB gets the rights)

FYI Bjork is an actress and won best actress award at Cannes Film Festival for her performance in Dancer In The Dark. She would be the perfect Minmay but she is 43 years old and Minmay was supposed to be what 16? That may be a stretch. -
Those look so great! Got to get my YF-19 GNU now!

1/60 perfect transforming vf-1 from yamato?
miriya replied to Shaggydog's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
For a while I was liking the 1/60 v.2 better than the 1/48 in battroid mode but after that last comparison pic I am going back to 1/48. Now I really REALLY really need a 1/48 VF-1D. -
Thank you Graham for the comparison shots. The GNU looks soooooooo much better than the revoltech! I am glad that I ordered the GNU YF-21 but not I am regretting buying the YF-19 Revoltech. I think that when it arrives to me I will just sell it and get the GNU instead.

The last two are taken by xstoys.
