Global and Laplamiz have never been done before ever by anyone so it would be great if someone (CMS) would finally do this. Oh, wait, did matchbox do a global?

Who is making this figure? I want it.

This is exciting news. I have been hoping CMS come out with another line of macross figures for some time now. I agree that they need to move on from minmei. I want CMS to do Laplamiz, Quamjin (Kamjin?), Global, Claudia, Misa in SDFM flightsuit, and Milia in Zentraedi Flightsuit. That would be sweet. Of course it would be best if they did a series of all the macross women in flightsuits as mentioned earlier somewhere.

The nora and CF are problem free. The original Ivanov had some problems. I am not sure if the re-release Ivanov has come out yet. I have Nora. I have had my finger on the trigger for that CF for a while. Just money is too tight for me right now. It is a good time to be a macross collector and because of that a bad time to be broke. Dobler Flanker scheme would be nice. I somehow doubt they will do it any time soon but it is possible.

I just had a vision... I dont know if I can pull it off in photoshop but I may try tomorrow anyway. Chrome plated SV-51!!!!! Can you see it in your mind's eye? Dont know if it is chemically feasable but there is some automotive enamels that wicked ace tipped me on to and they have some chrome enamels that may work. I may have to try it first on a POS super poseable toynami. I know that the toynami is PVC and the Yamato is ABS but I will want to test the paint quality first. Of course there is also the fact that I can not afford to buy another SV-51 but that is a different story alltogether....

I am stoked on the new V.2 series, especially to get a VF-1D, but the more I look at comparison shots the more I am still liking the 1/48 best. And there is no (foreseeable) way I would sell my 1/48s. There are some improvements on the new 1/60 and I am going to get at least one if not a few but I will still want the 1/48s too.

That is great! I love the background story. I remember when I first saw Ron's posing of a destroid model he had made and I was wondering what the amazing background was so I PMed him asking what kind of diorama it was. He told me that he scratch built it and showed me pics of his diorama. I just wanted one soooooo bad for my 1/48s that I figured I might as well ask. I did not expect him to agree to make one for me and the reslurms are a dream come true. I am so happy that Ron has been so kind to make these for us. He is a real master at his craft. Congrats again macross man. Also massive props on your collection in general. It is awesome.

Macrossman is indeed a macrossman. I love the VF-1D too. that is sooooo cool. Of course the diorama is kick ass!

Congratulations!!! This is totally awesome! Thanks for posting the pics! I have a request. Can you take some pictures without the flash, but light it up from a lamp or other light source. I am just curious to see the more natural colors. When you get a chance. The soda machine is such a cool touch and all the figures look fantastic!
