Thanks. I have started to put it together and it does look cool. I will post the completed one as soon as I can. But it is starting to chip and scratch. It will be fun to take before and after pics from before I give it to my son and after he plays with it for a month.

Kyp, Thanks for this thread. This is very helpful. I think that the rainbow canopy is a cool idea and looks cool at times but really i want to see the pilot clearly so this is great to know that it can come off.

Thanks Ry, I have been waiting for someone who I have ordered from before to have it up for pre-order but i did not realize that Carlos had it up yet so thank you. I just preordered it from Lost and Found Toys. I suppose that you could take credit for this purchase too but I probably would have ordered with him anyway as long as HLJ did not get the early bird up before his preorder which they didnt.

Thanks! I think he still has some kits available. You should PM him. It actually works decently for the 1/48 in fighter mode but in battroid it is taller than the door. Works great for 1/60 (vf-1) though. The kit was actually really easy to build and I think it looks great even without painting it.

I have started putting it back together. I will post the pics when it is finished. I am still quite a noob in this hobby but learned a lot with this, , , not to get into this hobby! Just kidding. But it is difficult and frustrating as well as fun and exciting. Now that I have done my first 1/55 custom and my first resin kit Link I am starting to get the hang of it and and what not to do. Hopefully when I get around to my SD YF-19 and SD YF-21 kits I will have better skills from all of these beginnings. Also I have to thank all the great people here on the forums for giving so much great advice. You know who you are (especially if I keep sending you PMs asking for help). More later.....

Well, finally I have built this kit. It looks quite cool considering it is my first completed model kit. If I were to do this again I would not have used the gun metal greys for the walls but something more flat and I would have made the door more different in color than the walls. But I am still happy. I will post some pics now and then when I set it up with the valks in my collection I will post some more....
