Lame lame lame. Just got mine. 2 x Sheryl 1 x Alto 0 x Ranka 0 x Ozma vf-25 (colored) 2 x Alto VF-25 3 x Ozma VF-25 (gunmetal) 2 x Alto VF-25 (gunmetal) So guess what? I want a Ranka and I want a Ozma VF-25 Colored version. Anyone want to trade or sell?

Looking at the picutre in the first post, I am so excited to get this one. I missed the 1/48 version and almost got one a few months ago, but could not afford it. Now I will have a TV Hikaru VF-1J, finally. Back on topic. I am still not sure if I like the rainbow tint. It is cool but I dont want it to obsure my pilot or that is my view of the pilot. I might try what Kyp did on his.

That is a very good point. I do graphic design and layout and I often like to do right align for aesthetic. However in this case it is very possible that they just forgot to flip it. For now it may have to remain a mystery until.....

Oh, by the way, I bought a DVD on ebay of episodes 1 - 13 from a seller in Malyasia that had english and malay subs but the member is no longer a member and I never got the item and he(or she) will not reply to my emails! That was a dumb way to waste $30. I could have gotten some cool toys instead. There are a couple of sellers on ebay selling these but I do not feel like loosing another $30. Especially if the subtitles suck.

Some of the episodes I have downloaded have some screwed up subtitles. I dont know if it is my player or the way I am using it or what but my episode 15 by Lunar is so screwed up I can not make out much. They are translating all the lyrics and multiple dialogs on one single line so all the letters are on top of each other. I am hoping that the gg version wont do that. What fansub versions are the best for good, non overlapping subtitles?

Regardless of the reports I will still be getting the VF-1J Hikaru and the VF-1D and hope that things are better by then. At this point I am hoping that Yamato's QC guy is watching this thread. The missing parts like the head and the wheel are probably factory issues that hopefully someone will communicate to the factory that they have to be a bit more careful. Then the seemingly fragile shoulder bit, maybe they can fix by updating the design for the next run. It would be cool to know if Yamato is on to these things already. It would be reassuring to us fans/customers if Yamato could communicate to us that they are on to it and what steps they are taking. But then again they are probably really tired of all of us Macrossworld complainers.
