Thanks. Actually since I gave it to him he has left it in battroid mode in a single pose on the corner of the coffee table in the living room and it is not to be touched. He plays with my 1/55 Cannon fodder constantly righti in front of this one and whenever I try to get near the red custom he yells at me not to touch it. It is part of his collection. So basically he has decided that it is a display piece. I have asked him if he wants me to transform it for him and I picked it up and he freaked out that I messed up his pose and that the blaster was in the wrong posistion. For now, no fear of further chipping. It is pretty ironic. On a side note... I have an oil painting I did of Milia on my wall in the living room and last night he asked me if it was nora. I told him that he was really close and that milia was probably the inspiration for nora.

Check out some of the build up threads in the models section. I think that using a few primer coats before painting is standard and masking before painting and clear coat, then decals then clear coat again? Something like that.

Too bad. My dad used to have one in his garage when I was in high school. But he got rid of it years ago. There are machine shops all over the place though that you can pay to make little (or big) bits to your specs. Some of these places you can bring them any 3 dimensional object, they do a 3D scan, input the info to the milling machine and you choose your material, steel, aluminum, wood, foam and they build it for you. What we would need is one complete, not broken, piece and get it replicated in high quality aluminum. Or we could just nag Graham about it enough so that he will mention it to yamato and they make that piece in die cast for the next releases.

I wonder how long it will take for these last 10 Kamjins to sell. Probably not long.
