I too soaked in pinesol, not diluted at all, for over 2 weeks and no bubbles and very little paint removal. I had to apply a ghastly amount of elbow grease to get anything to budge and then gave up. Maybe some of us are getting bad batches of pine sol.

I am only on episode 19 so I have not seen Alto's VF-171 but that pic above looks gorgeous. I love that color scheme, the white and gray. That is a winner. It would make a gorgeous figure or Model. If they can make it as nicely as they did the VF-25 model (which looks great in battroid and fighter IMO) then I think most of us would be happy. Also the CF color scheme is nice, that almost blue/grey metalic color with the orange heatsheild. yummy.

(in addition to previously stated need for yamato to make PT VF-4 in 1/60...) I would LOVE Yamato to make a GN-U VF-4 Battroid!!! Graham, can you suggest it to them. Of course a VF-4 Fighter too would be great.

I think it is nostalgia for a lot of people. For me that is a major factor for loving the chunky. Another factor for me is that it is insanely sturdy. I let my 3&1/2 year old son play with mine and I have no fear of it breaking. I can fly it around like crazy and transform it back in forth in under a minute with my eyes closed, so that is the playability factor. That said, I much preffer the yamatos for their perfect sexy shape, that hot sculpt, and sultry design. They are the ultimate in valkness. Gorgeous works of art they are. But I do sweat when transforming them, do not let my son play with them, and it takes me anywhere from 10 minutes to a half an hour to transform them. For the most part I put my Yamato's on display and change the poses only occasionally. My chunkey monkey stays in the living room table to be played with daily. For me, those are the main differences.

I still need to see macross II and I still need to see macross 7. I have both on DVD already, but just have not made the time to watch. So that Wendy Ryder looks pretty hot. Is there a figure of her somewhere? Maybe CMS could bust it out.

I do not want to take this thread any further off topic but do want to say that I appreciate Misterryno and his presence here on the forums. I agree with Eriku that he does contribute to the community in a positive way. I also commend his insane enthusiasm. he is a real FAN. ..... Back on track, am I the only one that hopes they reissue the Cannon Fodder VF-1A and include fast packs? That is my favorite color scheme for chunky monkey. I have always wondered why that one did not sell so well with the last release. Am I alone in loving this?
