Also, the plastic on this suckah is very brittle, I made my mistakes and had to correct them myself . Oh well Here is the almost final, for now.

So many little parts, little, that's what they are, too little. I wish yamato would do at least a 1/72 or 1/60 of this little bugger...

I spray painted the light grey, and continued to hand paint(bad move).

I know, I know, I sucked at painting it, but it has that Je ne sais quois?(sp?) That rock hard image to it.

Well at least I took a couple of pictures to celebrate my 2nd Mcross model I 've ever built. I am amazed at how beautiful this model is. The shapes, recalls Kawamori's concept but goes a little further. Hope you enjoy them! Vic

Because Yamato doesn't make Robotech toys. Toynami probably feels rather confident in saying they've created the best Robotech toy ever. Because it is. It's jsut not the best Valkyrie ever, not by a long shot. Well said. Couldn't have said it better myself. vic.

I don't even know if I should get the 1s Hikaru. I'm going nuts What to do , I even think, at this point, that the Hikaru 1S, looks even better than the Focker 1S Yes, that's how crazy I am right now. The Roy 1S has a;ways been my fav(and other 3 million peoples) but now the Hikaru 1Shunts me. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG! Guys I saw a couple of apisodes of Macross 7 dymamite, and I never saw a VF-22. I'm watching the wrong Macross7? BTW my fav. is the 19, but since I haven't seen the VF-22 on macross 7 Dynamite yet, I'm not voting. vic.

I believe Gashapon relates to those small figurines you can get at slot machines in Japan(anybody correct me if I'm wrong). I got some Trigun gashapon about a year ago, and I think they are pretty well detailed for such a small figure(about 3" tall). vic. Gachapon refers to "capsule toys". The ones that come in a little plastic dome. The name, oddly enough, is supposed to be the noise the machine makes as you turn the crank and the capsule pops out. Good, I wasn't that far from the truth! vic.

Started in 1977 with Star Wars(gave away), then GiJoe(now sold) and transformers(now sold). 1988 I got my Imai variable. It all ended 1989. Restarted in 1994 with the Star Wars action fleet (small ships), It ended in 1998. Restarted in 2000 with the M+ "toycom" , and so far I've got pretty much everything Yamato has put out . Also I got 12" Star Wars dolls, Trigun's Vash and Wolf(Kayodo) Some TF's(6)(including a complete Jetfire ), and some Gundam W(1/60 Perfect grade, FiX 006, etc...). So far, I just want all the 1/48s, and most possibly the 1/72 YF-19. I just want to collect Macross, nothing else. I'll probably just sell everything else on Ebay. If, I could only get a good deal on the DYRL VF-1S Hikaru 1/48, I would be the happiest man arround. vic.
