I got my 1/48 VF-1J FP from Kevin's Vakyrie-Exchange yesterday!!! Thant was quick! I absolutely love this toy! It looks kind o' grey to my, but when I compare it to the other white ones, it looks white. The toy is great, I love the big hands, the pilot is really cool, the fore arms look stronger. Over all I'mreally happy to have this model. I transformed it with the armor on, and now I'm just playing with it with no armor. For some reason, this VF-1J makes me reminds me of that episode where Hikaru accidentally falls inside on a Zentraedi ship. Anyways, if you guys want pics let me know. I'll be taking pics of it soon. what im thinking since i seen that ep. that it wasnt the blast that killed him but rather the blast shot parts of the cockpit into roy much like a frag grenade and getting a bit of sharpnel in a fatal spot. the model is great any top down picks of the cockpit. maybe we can get a better view if the glare from the glass is not too much. The 1S Hikaru was never my fav, but I did get one. I love it now, It has become the object of my fascination. The one I didn't quiet swallowed yet is the Max 1A. I'll wait for the 1J to be released(hopefully). I prefer the Full Blue Max, and of course, the cutifull Miria ViC! To b excact, I think getting a Hikaru 1S is like getting Roy in a bad @$$ red color, and it also looks great with Fast Packs! (Possible spoiler) Other than the fact the 1S is the lonely Valk taking care of Bodolza in the climax of DYRL. vic!

Actually, the "rod" that holds that cannon broke yesterday. It seems like a little extra paint forced the loop that held the "rubber" peice to break.This piece also holds the "cannon pack" I fixed it yesterday, but it sort of limits the overall movement of the cannon. sucjy, sucky, sucky. Next time I'll be more careful. Vic.

The scale is 1/100, so it is a small suckah! I so hate to have different scales among my Macross collection. I've got( 1) 1/100, (5) 1/72, (2) 1/65, (9) 1/60, (4) 1/48. The only thing I can compare with my Macross collection is my 1/60, and 1/100 Gundam Models(wich are not painted all the way) Vic.
