I also got rid of my alpha. As a part of a group exchange/buy. I miss it a little, but I never really used it. I couldn't trust it. I wish Yamato would make one of these. A 1/48 alpha would be King! Oh well, it's not going to happen... I'm not THAT lucky... V!C

I think the new DYRL style hands included with the new GBP armor are the nicer looking hands ever. I also like the 1/48VF-1J TV style hands. About the wings: Overlapping of the wings using a step mechanism would make the wings leveled in fighter mode. The VF-0 in the pictures above(line art), reminds me a lot of the VF-11B. The head and shape of the wings are extremely similar to the VF-11B IMO. I guess they would explain it as the VF-0 being the predecessor of the VF-11B. I love the VF-11B design even more than the YF-19, and YF-21. I personally like the VF-0S, and all the other variations. I'll get as much of them as I can. I guess price will tell...I guess thirteen 1/48s are not enough for me...I can't believe I love Macross so much...Such a sexy design... Yeap, V!C

Now hurricane Rita is actually aimed in our direction(Houston). I'm concerned about my Macross collection. I just got my 4 CFs, and now my alsmost complete collection is at risk. I have everthing except for a 1/48 DYRL Max; All re-issue Bandai; all 1/60 (except the blue Q-Rau Max); and almost all CMs. I bought some plastic cases, and bubble rap. I packed mostly 1/48+FP(13 1/48s)(12 FPs) for emergency flood, or transportation, or wind destruction. I'm in the west side of Houston, and we are expecting high wind, and flood warnings. Hopefully the coast will slow down Rita, and diminish the streght of the storm. Wish me luck, hopefully, that bi@tch Rita won't show up. Peace... V!C

Well FPs are for outer space. I still think they look great with FP, and strike. I think an officer scorted by 3 FP CFs in outer space would be a nice sight. V!C

Man I had to get a couple of new FP's to be able to dress my 4 CF's Man this hooby costs a lot of money if you want to have everything right down to last detail. So Far, each and everyone of my 1/48 have their respective FP. I'm fixing to make a low-vis FP. I have the impression that the blue does not go well with grey. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'll try it anyway. V!C

Thanks for the replies guys! I live in USA, and indeed this is NTSC territory. The game in the other hand appears to be PAL, and hopefully it will arrive soon (got it on ebay). I have both PS2 versions: The fat one, and the slim one. What I want to know, is which PS2 should I modify in order to be absolutely certain the game will work. I've been reading articles in the internet, and it seems like both of them would be very easy and safe to modify(without opening the console). Now which one would work? I have no idea. Maybe, If you guys could recommend the most efficient way to mod this systems I would greatly apreciate it. That way I can be a 100% sure about what should I buy for either system. My PS2 Versions are: SCPH70012 (slim PS2) SCHP39001 (fat PS2) I would rather mod the PS2 without having to open the console and void the manufacturers warranty. Does anybody know if there is any difference in the import Macross 3D shooter games? Are some Pal? or NTSC? i both versions of the PS2. I think the new one would be easier to mod, but would it play the game? V!C

I have one, and I display it in Gerwalk mode all the time. I have not yet transformed it into battroid. It must be because I always dreamed of having a Monster! The loose arms bother me, but taht's is the only downside. BTW, does anybody remember what scale are those little variable Bampresto VF-1? I have mine right next to the Monster, and it look about the right size in comparison. Just wondering, V!C
