Well, you can't really see the feet completely in those pics from the akihabara thread. Plus, it is standing on glass, which makes it harder to really determine if the feet are bent or not. Maybe, when you pull the feet outwards, it will allow you to angle them. As you can see that extra piece just above the feet would probably make it difficult to have an angle while the feet are fully openned/extended. The important thing is that this a wonderful toy, and I'm glad I pre-ordered two of them. edited grammar once more.

Still, I have my fingers crossed on this. I really love that feature in my 1/48s I can live with a crooked skull tailfin, but feet that does not angle really hurt me

In aviation is that protuberant, antena looking tube in located in an undisturbed, unobstructed area of every aircraft. Regarding the VF-0S this tube is located in underneath its nose, and it is removable to avoid its breakage.

Well, I don't know what to think. I do like the finish of the Low Vis, like the painted landing gear bays. If it is the exact same thing I'll probably just get one. If it is (hopefully) a new different one, then I'll get two or more, if I can that is. Fingers crossed..

Are you saying, you are certain the Low-Vis is going to be different that the one we own? I sure hope so..

I've sold a great deal of my other collectibles. Some things, I'm still attached to, and won't sell. I was married too, and now I'm divorced, but my x-wife now collects Macross, so I guess I created a new Macross fan. We should treasure this Macross Renaissance, and also treasure the moments we could buy multiples of this amazing toys. In the end we will all get old and die, that is the only certain thing in this life. So might as well enjoy while we can, and try to make it good for ourselves and the ones we love. And even the ones we don't love. And please relax guys, everything is going to be OK!

I actually transformed mine about 4 times, and it never broke. I was super gentle, but I'm sure you were also gentle Then I read about the hip breakage problem, so I put the VF-11 back in the box. Only once since then I revisited for a photo session. I'm so tramatized that I don't even touch the FP version. I transformed it once for pics, and then it went right back into the box. I wish Yamato releases a 1/60 version of this toy, with titanium hips ;p

Why not just remake the original Macross? With the original artist who did the characters in the first one. All 3d with good maps! It would be so awesome. I'd never leave my house again!

Wow, the JC Penny catalog is a time machine. Back then I lived in Panama, and I could only get this toys in 2 local toy stores. The bad thing is that in Panama they double the price of hard to get stuff. So basically sometimes the store would be out of stock, or have double thge price tag on this toys Yeap, I'm traumatized. I recall reaching for a Jetfire(59.99) in the Top shelf, and my Dad telling me: That's too expensive for a toy! BTW we do use dollars as our currency, but merchants are evil. I went back to Panama back in 2001, and all stores had a price tag of 600.00 dollars on the PS2. That was ridiculous... edited grammar...
