I'm getting two of each. I hope. I like the idea of it looking like the Japanese VF-1 Mitsubishi airplane. The first pics didn't really make it for me. But now I understand!

Hi guys, just to let you know that toy-wave.com has the VF-0S on pre-order for 150.00!!! Pre-order now if you haven't done so! Yep, infomercial... Ken from toy-wave has been really nice to me, and I just feel like returning the favor.

I'm divorced, and my X now collects Macross Now I'm dating this girl, and she buys stuff for me (actually that's not too far from the truth )(She ordered "against my will" the 0S for me )Which I had ordered already, and I was looking at it on the screen when she came over. I'm getting worried, she is always trying to buy everything I look at. Which other than flattering is starting to look, and feel psycho... Currently, I don't give her my opinion on things, because I know she is just ready to buy anything I say I like. Ufff, I just had to let that out. I love been single for the moment. I really don't want a serious relatioship. I have to much stuff to do, and I like complete control over my life. Ok, ok, back to the subject. Yes I'm a completetist(1/48-1/55re-1/60). Whenever I can, I get a double. Sometimes 4 of a kind (CF), or 6 of a kind (GBP), or 13 of a kind (FP/strike). I'm missing the evil 1/48 Max 1A, and the Q-Rau Max(not really a fan). I'm selling most of my other stuff on Ebay. There is no longer a point to have something that replaces my Macross fetish. So, other than the TF alts, and some SW ships everything else goes to Ebay. Sometimes I think I have too much stuff. I have a huge 1/48 display along my wall, and girls don't seem to mind it....?? I would think they would say I'm a child minded geek, or whatever, but they don't. Sometimes, on porpuse I take one of my 1/48 and transform it in from of them, but they just ask questions about what Macross is. I don't get it. I guess if you try to hide it, then you look like a geek? God, I'm going on tangents tonight. In conclusion, I love Macross and I can't seem to stop buying this stuff. I feel proud of my collection already, and I seem to be hungry for more. I do freelance work in my house, and it pretty much finances my habit. When I started my habit, I mean hobby, I used to charge everything to my credit cards. Then I soon realized that was a terrible mistake, so that's out of the question now. Guys, do what you like, but be careful not to get your priorities mixed up. I'm lucky to have such collection, but in reality our dreams in life are the ones we must complete. A life completist is what I want to be. Everything else will come along once this is realized. Everyone must have a dream. Never stop dreaming MW!

No ofense, but we have said many, many, many times that the 1/60 VF-0 is actually bigger in size than a 1/48 VF-1 Yes, a VF-0 at 1/48 scale, would be almost double the size of a VF-1... Yes, in "real life" a VF-0 would be huge compared to a VF-1... Yes, the pilot in the 1/60 VF-0 would be very small, because it continues to be 1/60 scale, while the airplane itself is actually larger than the VF-1 1/48 Do you get it? If you buy a 1/60 VF-0, you are getting a bigger airplane than a 1/48 VF-1. Also, remember this 1/60 has advancement over the 1/48. Rotating pilot seat, Landing gear that open outwards like real airplanes. Head lasers can aim outwards in fighter mode. The first full-bodied 1/60 pilot. Leg armors. Etc, etc, etc

Excuse me, but the original Low-Vis looked really good to me and that's why I bought it. I remember back then people saying "it's not an original color scheme" or "I'm not buying it", but that didn't mean the Low-Vis looked bad. You might be right in your assumption of people trying to get these versions when the market is depleted, but you have to admit that these pictures are showing a less than professional/creative paint job. Maybe it is the lighting, maybe the green hands on the 1A or the red kite logo on the stealth 1J. I'll get at least one of each as always, but I wish they would've taken more than 20 minutes to paint these valks.

I just wish the final version looks good. I just don't have enough info to really base my opinion upon. I want to see all 3 modes.
-
I don't get it, this must be a joke...

My heart grows heavy... I can't believe the lack of creativity on those 1/48s. Yamato, just follow listen to the fans, and you'll be on the money. I'll probably get those abominations, but they are pissing me off!

I liked Equilibrium, and I love Milla. I guess I'll go see this movie. I am keeping my expectations very low just to see if I'm surprised.

I guess That would be Toy R Us Japan? Is this a real gift set? or a crafty someone trying to throw a fast ball? Wow, that's some crappy packaging. ...but, if Toy R Us is selling it here in the US, I'd go buy it just for fun and I already have two of these suckers I love the 1S!

I'm getting 2 of these beauties, maybe 3. I already paid for 2, but I'm thinking about ordering a third. I'm hopeless

Ok, here is the reply of Ken at Toy-Wave: "Hi! I will open pre order soon! Ken" So, if anyone is interested, this guy is really cool. I 've had only great experiences everytime I order something from him.

If you notice the forearm armors are a different design (TV version) than the ones on the FP/strike(DYRL movie version) edited sp

Wow, did anyone notice the clear LCD display on the top of the control panel inside the cockpit? Wow, I wich the 1/48 TV versions had this feature.

Well, you can't really see the feet completely in those pics from the akihabara thread. Plus, it is standing on glass, which makes it harder to really determine if the feet are bent or not. Maybe, when you pull the feet outwards, it will allow you to angle them. As you can see that extra piece just above the feet would probably make it difficult to have an angle while the feet are fully openned/extended. The important thing is that this a wonderful toy, and I'm glad I pre-ordered two of them. edited grammar once more.
-
Still, I have my fingers crossed on this. I really love that feature in my 1/48s I can live with a crooked skull tailfin, but feet that does not angle really hurt me
-
If that's right, then the drawing I made is wrong... If you see my avatar, the arrows are yellow, and I drew a TV version 1S. I guess I need to fix it...
-
So far, yes, it seems like. I don't know why Toy-wave is not taking pre-orders for this item. Edit in: Oooooops, yes they were. But it seems like they are sold out now. I'll PM Ken to see if he'll take more orders.

No way, it does look like you can't angle the feet! I knew this couldn't be perfect. I just hope the "forgot" to angle the feet for the photo shoot...
